Do you have some pictures you could show us?

am i supposed to recalibrate my Z offset each time i put the printer on it's side? Does that mess with how it's placed or something?

#

Yeah im gonna take a picture in a minute

#

perfect

#

im thinking it might be something much simpler like a jam

#

Or thats waayyyy to close

#

or that's a clog/jam

#

Option 3: one of the extruder wires got lose

radiant yacht
#

it could be that

radiant yacht
#

yeah i dunno

#

I cleared the nozzle and checked the wiring

#

and it's still not doing it

#

i guess i have to set z offset again?

#

is that a thing? Do you just have to set Z offset every now and then?

#

i remember having to set Z offset when i first installed klipper for example even though it should have been in the EEPROM

#

yeah i think somethign went wrong with the extruder

#

the motor is moving, i see it moving

#

but filament isn't.

what the actual fuck do i do

#

ive changed the z offset 9 times

radiant yacht
#

I checked everything

If you extruder mid air

#

Does it even extrude?

#

If not check the gears, they might be clogged up with filament grindings, check if it sounds normal, sometimes one of the cables breaks,

#

I tried to check if it would extrude in mid aid by lowering the bed and then sending Gcode

#

nothing happened

#

tried to jam it manually

#

nothing happened

#

Hot pull, reinsert

#

some came out

#

try and print, nothing happened

echo hazel
#

But did you check the wires?

#

Sometimes the pins that go into the connectors disconnect slightly or are bend and don't connect fully, I've had that happen with my x motor plenty of times

#

What hotend and extruder are you running?
