ABS should be done with a fan to get the best results, but less is more. FYI I do not use a fan on ABS at all and my only issue is on overhangs.

I don't have any mains heaters to keep my temps up. My enclosures don't get much over 48 ambient. Edit: oh, and they're box enclosures, not built into the printer, so extra air to keep hot.
