#what should the z-tilt tolerance be?

are you using 3 points or 4 points in setting the tilt
3 points. it finishes the routine. but takes alot more tries than it did originally with stock 2 point. On a weird maybe related point. now when I try to run a bed mesh calibration it picks up the klicky and then throws this error : Move out of range: 11.500 -9.750 10.000 [0.000]. not sure what it means.
post your config
my next task is to clean the cfg file up. sorry in advance
also changed to tolerance to 0.01 which seemed excessive
but i'm most likely incorrect
# Driver2
[stepper_z]
step_pin: PF11
dir_pin: !PG3
enable_pin: !PG5
microsteps: 16
rotation_distance: 2
endstop_pin: probe:z_virtual_endstop
#position_endstop: 0.5
position_min: -15
position_max: 400
Z min is not low enough
I tend to use -15 to prevent errors
you can go even more if needed
.05 on my pro for 3 point
am i correct in thinking the probe points should be where the bed attaches to the tanks?
they do not need to be
but you also need to account for probe offset
I always mix up the math on how to shift the values
so the values shouldn't be the same.
i tried to get the probe directly over the bolt locations but the front just doesnt reach
gets close tho
I try to probe a bit off the mini tanks, since there can be a slight divot over the holes.
i probe over(in line with) the arm as close to the tank as possible without being directly over the screw,
that makes sense
I think something else is going on here. at -50 and still throwing error Move out of range: 11.500 -9.750 10.000 [0.000]
change position min on y
actually think i might have figured it out. i realize i didn't change the bed size in klicky varibles. unfortunately my ebb36 just stopped working again so ill have to text it out later
nope that wasn't it
