Octopus Fan Bracket

Simple Octopus fan mount to position 3 4010 fans over the stepper driver heatsinks.

Designed to use (4) M3x6mm brass standoffs (commonly used with PC motherboards) in conjunction with Turtlecrawler's Octopus DIN mounts. These allow you to remove the fans & bracket without unmounting the board.

Wire management provisions along the inside edge in the form of ziptie slots.

This is rad! I like this idea since the fans theoretically wouldn't have to run as high to cool the steppers. Have you tested it to see how much of a difference it makes?

Nothing empirical. I know that I have 0 problems with it installed, and before I had a stepper driver or two that were very sensitive to heat.

I don’t have a manta to work from. Maybe if I can find a reliable model of the board..

I’d be willing to throw you a few bucks to prioritize that.. and add a spot for like 2 small 20x7 or 20x10 fans over the cm4 location
