since you literally can't buy anything but armour and maybe a few utils (smokes. flashes. frag grenades)

in starting pistol round

but if it's middle (i e round 5-6 after a rifle round, usually teams will go pistol round to eco round to rifle round)

if you feel like you're gonna lose, go pistol round again

or if you're saving money for an AWP for your awper

or you can bait the other team by them wasting on a full buy (full rifles, utils, armour) and you guys can (hopefully) rush in with all pistols and eco weapons to pick a few of them off

pretty complicated stuffs sometimes

but the enemy team can also counter your eco by doing anti-eco (buying weapons that counters eco round weapons that also earns a lot of money i.e SMGs, FAMAS, Galil)
