Ok so I’m not diagnosed but hopefully I’ll be starting that process soon but I suspect I have ADHD and autism. I try to make a schedule and follow it but then completely forget to stick with that plan that could literally changed my life forever and would’ve gotten me caught back up in literally everything, but my brain won’t let me do what the schedule says to do and it’s driving me up the walls. Are there any tactics that I could try to fix this? I need to catch up as soon as possible as I have an AP exam next month.

I have tactics that work with me like make every task a challenge or try to make time something that helps focusing maybe try body doubling if you haven’t heard of it already I do t that with my twin one that I’ve tried a lot is you can put all you morning, afternoon, evening tasks in a wheel or spinner and do them at random sorry if these don’t help these are ones that worked for me!
Hi! I’m AuDHD- And upfront I’ll be honest it is hard to find something that works to satisfy both autistic tendencies and ADHD tendencies. I have a digital planner designed for ADHD (bought of Etsy) and I jot down what I really need to do that day and what else I would like to but don’t have to do. Therefore the autism has a level of structure and the ADHD sort of has the freedom to choose. I’m at uni so things are a nightmare I’ll give it that. I also video call people so I can body double if things are a real struggle. Hope that helps but please remember this is just what works for me and it may not for you.
can you send the link to the planner?
