#how is POTS diagnosed?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
ive heard there is a table tilt test but other than that idk
im diagnosed but no table tilt was needed, I had a heart monitor for abt 2 weeks and they checked it at the end of the time and saw theheart rate stuff
ohh yeah also heart monitor
My dr only gave me a 3 day monitor (over the weekend when I’m not as busy) and goes “you’re fine”
i had an ecg for a m onth and they took my blood
My dr said “you have premature atrial and ventricular contractions but you haven’t ever passed out or anything so I’m not gonna put you on anything. You’re fine. Make another appointment if you need” and I literally almost passed out when I stood up to leave
well not everyone with POTS faints
It's generally going through blood tests and then going to a cardiologist for stress tests and a tilt table test, but generally its hard to diagnose.
We have severe presyncope.
Exactly. But because I haven’t I MUST be perfectly fine. /sarcasm
ik thats the thing. People are like " i can't have POTS i dont faint" but thye have even mkre POTS symptoms then me
