It's my first winter with my cane, and I'm realizing that the ice is... a problem. Are there things I can do or a specific tip I can use to keep slipping to a minimum? I've rediscovered my love for walking trails and would like to take walks this winter.

You can get things to go under your shoe to stop you slipping on ice. I can see if I can find a name for it

I found a link to what I have on amazon. Would you like it?

Also called anti-slip shoes ice grips

Once my dad had to use canes in winter and he had something at the end of his cane so he wouldn´t slip so easily. I´ll try to find a picture

I actually found an amazon product that might help. Here´s the link:

I hope the link works bc it´s from the german website

i glued sandpaper to the bottom on my cane to prevent it slipping on ice, actually works well (for me at least and where i live it doesnt get icy TOO often)

And where I live can get pretty icy in the winter.

Got an ice tip that'll be arriving soon! It's not very icy/snowy right now, but we'll see what happens

Completely missed the "two pack" and my brain didn't register "one pair" when we bought the ice tip, so... free ice tip? Whoo!

Finally got around to putting it on my cane! Didn't have a need to before now, since it hasn't been snowing this year, but it's snowing today. Hopefully it does the job!
