I mean you could have it , it could also be adhd and also trauma

#

The social side is quite a big part of autism but again everyone presents differently

#

U might be able to get a second opinion

I'd say go to a different psychologist, maybe one who specializes in neurodivergencies

if you 100% don't struggle with the social aspects, then it's probably true that you don't ahve autism and instead have another neurodivergent disorder with similar traits (they commonly overlap!)

but just a think to mention,
some people especially AFAB individuals, commonly mask a lot leading to misinterpretation of their social abilities because they appear social and can sometimes do the same things as everybody else because they hide what they feel and how they truly act

so obviously, this can lead to misidagnoses which are really common in females especially adults (hence the issue of so many late-diagnosed autistic women having been missed by the criteria as a child)

Icl this just sounds like being a bit introverted

#

And also being a kid

#

A whole massive thing with asd , is the not understanding other’s emotions or being able to tell what they are feeling, the friends part is a stereotype but all stereotypes are based of some truth , the yelling would be a meltdown , the struggles making friends , even the please and the thank u ,

#

Basically all the things u didn’t tick are the major signs of asd

#

It could possibly be adhd

#

I already said that I think

#

There are 3 things u ticked that are adhd symptoms

#

But then 3 isn’t rlly a lot

#

But yea it’s sounds like your just a bit introverted and tad bit hyper

#

I mean what would u say to them

#

I mean I wasn’t worried I was just curious

um i wasn’t sure what to type in this but but i recently found out that I was autistic a few months ago. I’m 19, I was diagnosed at 18 and now I’m just trying to come to terms with it all. is there anything anyone does that helped them, if they are also autistic?
