I'm going on a school field trip soon and we're going to be walking 4 miles on a trail. However, I have POTS and I can't walk for more than 20 minutes without getting severely symptomatic. A 4-mile walk is equivalent to about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and that's too long for me. I'm thinking about getting a wheelchair for an accommodation. Any tips?

Pushing a wheelchair on a trail is gonna be absolutely awful
Just pack snacks , salt , drinks and a blanket in case u are gonna pass out or smth
And take a lot of breaks
Tell ur teacher abt it aswell maybe they can get u a partner and a map so that u can go at your own pace
If you do get a wheelchair, see if someone can push it for you. Doing it yourself would be very difficult
I used a wheel chair in Alton towers it was impossible to push it took to staff two push me up the slightest hill
thanks for the advice!
No prob!
so what should I use instead of a wheelchair
