Hi, I've been planning to buy Overcooked 2 since my girlfriend's a fan of the game. The thing is I don't have a PC nor a gaming laptop as I only own a Macbook. What I do have are 2 PS5 controllers, which I was hoping I could make use of them by connecting them to my Macbook. Anything else I should be wary of, or what steps I should take in connecting my PS5 controllers. Any and all help is much appreciated, thanks!

If you have or experience any issues when attempting to use the controllers do let us - otherwise currently we're unable to give any further help currently - you should just be able to connect them. Some players reported experiencing some issues when using controllers on MAC with Overcooked! 2 - so do let us know how you get on! Thank you.

Hi, I just launched Overcooked 2 on my macbook. I wanted to play with PS5 controller, but it doesn't register any input from it. It recognises keyboard, but couldn't make controller work. I tried enabling and disabling steam input but no progress. Do you have any solutions? Thank you

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your PS5 controller, it must be frustrating.
DualSense (PS5) controllers should work on Mac, but sometimes the game may not detect them depending on how Steam or macOS is handling the controller input. A couple of things you could try:
• Make sure the controller is detected by macOS first (System Settings → Bluetooth or connect it via USB).
• In Steam, go to Settings → Controller and try enabling PlayStation Controller Support.
• If that’s already enabled, try toggling Steam Input on or off specifically for Overcooked! 2 and relaunching the game.
• Connecting the controller via USB instead of Bluetooth can sometimes help with detection.
If it still isn’t registering inputs, could you let us know:
- Your macOS version
- Whether Steam detects the controller in its controller settings
- Whether you're using Bluetooth or wired

I already tried suggestions above, didn't help 😢 . My os version is 26.3.1 and yes, Steam detects my controller. Don't have such issues with other games. I tried both bluetooth and wired
