She asks TyT to be her seller but they get into a big fight and finally Makoto agrees that she will pose as the seller, while TyT infiltrates as one of the Trafficked girls. This way Makoto can utilize her Dad’s old contacts and TyT can use her infiltration skills.

It’s a pretty dark story, but it could lead to a fun optional fight maybe even a Shadow fight with Makoto and TyT and even Ann at the end if she is dating Makoto by then

Now my perspectives are a little more skewed due to the plays but those two as half brothers is fascinating. Ken is ridiculously pure, but considering how he was when he came to SEES… It really makes you wonder if Akechi started out just like Ken.

IE Akechi wanting to get revenge for how he had been wronged and that twisting him into the Akechi he is at the point we meet him.

Ken runs into people who have run a dark path and those who have yet to and also has to deal with tragedy and realizes revenge is not the answer.

They’re almost like two sides of a coin.

It’s a very interesting character study.

I think Akechi may have started out as a Ken What if.

going back to yusuke, i think he just genuinely doesnt always realize when something he says or does comes off as kinda 😬 because his social senses arent all there, i assume from a combination of being relatively isolated before the plot and possibly just plain neurodivergence

i also want to point out this phone convo which iirc happens if you put off the yusuke awakening infiltration for a day, where basically ann intuits that what he really wants is for them to just leave him the hell alone instead of constantly showing up and insisting his dad sucks, which makes me wonder if it was supposed to be like "leave me alone unless its to help me in X specific way that ive outlined, or i call the popo about harassment" and either the writer or localization just completely fucked it somehow

the main issue i have with the sequence as-is is the framing treating it as just kind of a wacky hijink instead of a , so you have the guys being unhelpful w like morgana freezing up like a 12yo hearing the word "sex" for the first time and ryuji being like "youll figure sumthin out" and the player doesnt rly have anything useful to add but they can be an asshole for the bit
and yusuke being shitty (whether or not he realizes how shitty) doesnt have to be an issue when most of the pts start out on adversarial terms and it lends itself to a potential point of "yeah but just cus someones a dick doesnt mean they deserve to be exploited," but for the most part the pts just kinda laugh about it after the fact instead of addressing it

here its basically, like, for every 1% of hp the enemy *doesnt* have, add 1% to the multiplier. For every level the player has that is +4 or above the enemy, add 1% to the multiplier.

so if you rolled a 1, if the enemy is very low on hp and you have a very high level, you'll basically guarantee to roll above the 40 here, since it would be 1 * multiplier, and at 50% its already x1.5

basically. at a sliver of hp you have almost double better odds in negotiation. +4 levels should push it into double

So I had an idea for the Ann Art scene. Since we know from both general conversations, the event itself, and even his confidant that Yusuke has started to struggle: What if Ann just calls him on it?

Basically asks him if he’s just trying to find a new medium. And then she can say “Well I will tell you about myself, and just paint me. Whatever style comes to mind. I am a model, but I think you would be more comfortable and able to paint if I was clothed.” Yusuke gets a little less nervous and even if Ann is using this as time wasting tactic it could line up with Ann having this idea BEFORE they go over there. The original scene always struck me as a little odd like it was localized funny because Yusuke looked too nervous as an artist, and Ann seemed well… She either would have given a hard no or been blasé about it due to bein a model.

wait, no. if you have a level advantage that makes counterMind go beyond 100, this ends up lowering the odds

simple fix. i just have the thing that counts level advantage be separate from the hp one, and add it together at the end

here every level advantage past 3 (so starting at 4), increases the final value by 10%
