And the third semester awakening is the fourth arcana and is used to represent the characters denying maruki's false reality. Haru's Lucy is the Emperor, from Haru coming to terms with the death of her (shitty) father and taking full control of her own self and the company

naturally, makoto will have these 4 arcanas too

there's a thing called action economy and slot economy, so you cant really be spending your precious joker turns on niche skills, and even less spending precious skill slots of party members on the same

im trying to have these actually interesting effects in a more accessible way through stuff that is worth using, like your innate guns and strong skills

it broadens the depth of the game and im not balancing stuff around the player carrying objectively trash skills aroud

also, the skills chosen are going to change quite a bit if i think that it would be better for 'x to learn y at this point because of the z enemies in this area', so they are just estimates

ideally i want to keep upgrading the primary tools for that pt, so ann is mostly single target fire, healing, curse ik, sp drain, ailments, debuff, gun, and sparingly some phys (acrobat kick/somersault is for crits, and heat wave is the first heavy aoe she learns by level)

also some are just for fun thematic reasons

btw every character by level up will have element + phys + ailment + healing + support skill, its just that some have more of one than the other
