#I keep getting this error every time I open P4G with mods on

So I recently wanted to play P4G after not playing it for a while, and when i try to open the game I get this massive wall of text that continues with no stopping and reloaded ii says that it "Failed to obtain port for the Reloaded instance running inside the process."

I've tried to see if it was a mod making the error by reading it, but to be completely honest it makes zero sense to me. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

i dont think the log file will show everything on discord bc its extremely long

that window/"error" will show up after 40 seconds, regardless if there's any real issue or if it's just loading slowly for w/e reason

#

you can try waiting until you see a message saying all mods have loaded in the console window, then close the window that popped up, and see if mods are working fine

#

closing it before will cause mods to stop loading

#

either way, it shouldn't really take the long usually @hollow ravine

I'm just wondering why that big long text is showing up

#

I'm sure if I waited long enough it might load eventually

placid helm

it's called a log, just mods tracking what's happening, loading, or if there's an error

#

unless there's an issue you can ignore it, if there's an issue modders will ask for it

I just found it weird, I've never seen that happen before

#

it never happened before

if you dont want to see it you can turn off the console on the reloaded home page naotoshrug

I guess so yeah

so I did leave it to let it load and it took like 5 minutes

is reloaded in a onedrive folder?

no

#

it's in a desktop folder

It definitely shouldn't take that long although I don't see anything obviously wrong in the logs. Maybe your computer is just really slow...
It shouldn't be slow on subsequent launches anyway since all of the merging will be cached (unless the disk is the bottleneck in which case idk what you do)

I got it to load

but it says it took like 30000 ms
