Dark Akechi crashing the game while using ZMenu

So, i started NG+ and wanted to put Dark Akechi early in my party using ZMenu, but every time i press triangle (PS controller) to summon his Persona, the game just crashes...Does someone have a solution to this?

Zmenu no longer works for 1.0.4.

Also adding party members early is super jank

oh, i just forgot to mention that i downgraded my game to the version where ZMenu works, apologies for not mentioning it earlier
