The "Flee from Palace" at gameover mod breaks FFWD and Auto in conversations/events

This mod completely breaks the FFWD and Auto buttons, after the first time you flee from a palace using the mod.
The buttons sometimes appear during scenes, but they randomly disappear as well (as well as their functionality) and the FFWD button is turned into the Skip button
Is there any way to fix it?

Looks like that mod hasn't been updated for 1.0.4, or even for the last two years.

i have my own Game over system built in and i know what causes it

certain bit is OFF/ON that causes the ffwd/auto to change to skip
