#CPK + Event Addition Help

Hey! So I decided to try a basic mod, in which I add a new event to the game (basically copying the first event listed in the game, portait display test) but seems like it’s still not loading, do I need to add the PM2, PM3, and also BF file from event_data in order to display it? I had it added in as e999_999.

Ah, maybe it’s the filelist_hash file keeping track of everything?

Still stumped 😦 The event and event_data/script files are in the right place but it seems the game thinks it’s not there

I did see someone mention that adding files works the same as replacing them, so I guess there’s another file the game’s reading for events?

I’m looking into init.bin and there’s a cmmEventNo, I’m not sure if it’s related
