#Using BGME to change dlc music?
14 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Put your files in FEmulator/AWB/BGM_0X.AWB/123.adx where X is whatever AWB the costume loads
The bgm_XX.awb files are AWB files found in Persona 5 Royal's ps4R.cpk. They contains all the DLC background music tracks in ADX format, for more general info on...
I basically had taht already (minus the bgm folder) but that would still be replacing files, wouldn't it break mods that use bgme? (im having flashbacks of cbt)
All music replacement uses FEmulator/AWB. You won't need to mess with any AWB files generally.
then what did I do the first time around 😭 I know I changed files manually and that whatever I did wouldn't work with any mods that used bgme framework
FEmulator -> Replaces Audio
BGME -> Plays new audio
If something BGME related changes whatever audio would normally play to something else, well it's something else
anything replacing the normal audio is not gonna be used, because the normal audio isn't used at all
since this is costume bgm related, if you're using Bonus Tweaks then it's not playing the normal costume audio. Bonus Tweaks re-adds all costume BGM (as new audio) because of some technical stuff in the past/or an addition here or there
I'm sorry I keep going over the same thing, I'm just lost
I enabled cbt and it overrides it, plays the normal costume music over the one I modded
I know I can delete the folder/file in cbt to make it work but,,
well yeah, like i said
bonus tweaks is playing new audio for costumes
