#How hard is it to make a skill description mod without any mod making experience?

I love the Better Descriptions mod but I also use the Ultimate Rebalance mod and neither mod creator is willing to make compatibility mods for each other. I really want to have the effects of both, and am considering essentially making a version of Better Descriptions for the Ultimate Rebalance, but I have no modding experience and would need a lot of help in figuring out how to do this. I don't even know what category of mod I should be tagging here to be honest.

TL;DR: How difficult is it to make a mod like Better Descriptions that only changes skill descriptions, for someone who's never made a mod in their life?

Includes how to change the descriptions along with finding them, and making a mod for them.

because I basically have to redo Better Descriptions from scratch it's gonna take me quite a long time to make (my mind is war-torn by ADHD and everything takes ages)

#

cause I'll need to redo...every skill description in the game

#

probably Traits and items too

#

this is gonna be a long project lmao

I've reached the elemental skill descriptions

#

I don't know what to put in the 3rd description line, if any

#

Line 1 is "XXX% Element dmg to [one foe]/[all foes]."

#

on Physical/Gun skills, I've got Line 2 as "XX% Accuracy, XX% Critical Rate."

#

Line 3 is for any extra effects, such as status effects or hitting multiple times

#

however because the Elemental magics never do Criticals, I've moved their status effects to Line 2

#

now that I think about it though, I probably should keep elements on Line 3 because not all elements have status effects

oooh I came up with an alternative

#

Line 1: Damage
Line 2: Accuracy
Line 3: Bonus

#

or rather, I have a good Line 3 for all 6 main elements

#

Fire, Ice and Electric skills have their status effects

#

Wind: "Has a lower SP cost."

#

Psychokinetic: "Techs all Mental Ailments."

#

Nuclear: "Techs all Elemental Ailments."

#

because while there's other Technical combos available, covering an entire category is something only they do, and it's a useful trait
