rpgsite.net, its the only one i could find just googling around for a few minutes, everything else is mostly just telling you which days people are available and im not really good enough at planning stuff out to make my own schedule to max them all
the thing with reload is that if you:
- always have matching persona
- always do the correct dialogue
- prioritize your classmates (because of summer)
- prioritize ranks that will unlock other social links asap
- make sure you have enough Sundays for Akinari
- leave Hierophant for last, but do enough that it unlocks Bebe
- do SL rankups as much as possible
it's basically impossble not to max
there's a few SL you can't complete in strictly 10 days, but those you can then postpone and use the dating site note to push them over the edge without wasting any time
so you can probably finish with over a month to spare (except aigis/mitsuru)
I did Hierophant really quickly then rushed Hanged Man at some point

The approach to max s.links is very very flexible

hiero was my first max in fes but its technically the worst SL to rush, because they are available every single day without exception even on holidays, except mondays
Since generally, the personas locked behind moon only gets good at nearing endgame
Dionysus in OG-P3P, Chernobog in Reload
Hiero personas are generally ok in mid game so having some ranks on that helps

i did pretty much all that on my first playthrough, but i lost out on completing all of them because i had basically no time left to do aigis. i definitely made one or two mistakes but i just personally have a fucking atrocious memory and I'll constantly forget about shit i was literally just thinking about, and then by the time i realized i forgot to do some step to raise social stats or which link i should do on a given day it was too far back to fix from either saving over the old one or just not wanting to replay tons of stuff
again, not complaining about the game itself, i just have a personal difficulty with the kinda stuff a max slink run calls for lol

lol i actually really like kenji, he's a stupid asshole teenager but it was in a mostly endearing and funny way to me. I feel like he's both fairly harmless to anyone but himself in his worst moments and also has a genuinely good heart underneath all the horny stuff. I do agree that i really wish you didn't have to enable all of his terrible ideas to progress his link though, but that's kind of a fatal flaw of the entire system instead of just his link. i also wish i could tell him to get his head out of his ass instead of playing into his delusions, same thing with Kaz and his knee injury
Ideally it should be at the last days of the month and in early to midgame, a day after should be a school day for some courage points

it's also why i love Catherine so much, not only is the puzzle game part really fun if super frustrating sometimes, but the social sim stuff is a totally seperate system that you can answer how you like without punishing you in the other half of the game
also the story is just really good lol

I used that site on console but only for the correct choices. You could’ve gone for the 2 steam guides where 1 of them is for getting all of the achievements and the other is for just having a schedule to max out all social links by the end of the game

You can use a schedule guide like in my playthrough but, it might be a good idea to just any% it and prioritize certain SLs over others at the possible risk of missing out on other SLs.
im definitely going to try but i feel like doing them so quickly might have been my downfall last time, because i remember it took way too long for me to hit the stat requirements for multiple links which probably was what killed it
guide is just kind of an L imo but like if you wanna use it then that's up to you
like i needed the social stats higher earlier so i dont want to risk that again
i did all the ones that matter immediately and i had maxxed social stats really early
you just gotta know which ones are worth and which ones you can skip (mitsuru, koro, etc.)
mitsuru's makes ailments raise crit rate even higher while she's in the party
which is useless cus ailments are basically already guaranteed crits

You can get unlucky with getting critical hits at times
they do but mitsuru's thing adds an extra +15% onto the end total
missing crits is a skill issue though, not a luck one

but yeah the problem with mitsuru's one is that it only comes into effect when ailments are applied (not that often!) and also most ailments already give a massive crit bonus to begin with

I would say Aki is pretty decent for Hierophant and Lovers scenario. I would prefer to bring him over Mitsuru bc she’s weak to fire…and lovers use fire skills
well even if it doesn't resist elec, he has lower ma than mitsuru and freeze is much more beneficial than shock in this case (i don't even think hiero and lovers are vulnerable to shock)

oh yeah are crit rates against bosses silently resisted? i was critting fairly often against enemies in my last tartarus trip on properly leveled floors but i've barely landed any in these fights
they're not for the most part, but bosses have higher stats and thus higher lu

i thought luck just boosted crit instead of helping resist offensive ones too
if you have crit amp on junpei and/or use revolution you'll still crit often af though

if you don't have crit amp you could get away with benching junpei for here
aki will be worse damage but if you need the tarunda and extra dia user then its an option
imagine if the game explained what any of its stats did in any amount of useful detail, that is also one of my massive pet peeves. i dont even need the numbers, but the fact that they dont even really tell you what the persona stats even affect directly is so annoying
i do recommend at least bringing mitsuru tho
like strength and magic are fairly intuitive but everything else is a mess
and even magic doesn't necessarily end up being simple
average person doesn't know that ag effects turn order in this game lol

also the fact that theurgia scales on both offensive stats rather than just the one it should intuitively use, magic theurgias still require str maxxed for the most damage and vice versa

is there literally any use case, vanilla or mq, for raging tiger? i cant think of any skills that give yourself rage and even outside of the risks of taking double damage and the accuracy decreased, only a few enemies apply it and usually have their kits built around exploiting it

raging tiger is actually extremely overpowered in the old versions, but in p3r weapons are kinda useless and there is also no theoretical gimmick way to self-inflict rage on a major boss, so its kind of just not really useful anymore
man i really wish there was a way to quickly just restart a battle or die haha, went back to redo the hiero with mitsuru and managed to use a way more reasonable amount of sp but then forgor that the lovers opens with arrow and yukari instantly ate shit
i just put on rush and let my team kill themselves but it still takes forever and doesnt speed up the enemy attacks like the party members
I just wish MQ comes with a save anywhere add on where I could just save right in front of the boss door of lovers
at least it lets you retry bosses without having to load saves, no tartarus backups are so painful
It would be arguably unnecessary but it may have cases where you have 2 back to back fights in a scenario where you can’t save

The pierce is a problem if it's all one shots and stuff but if it's rare as hell nowadays (because of the charge rate changes) and it's only powerful with setup, I don't see why keeping the pierce effect is a bad thing

since they'll never use persona skills against the boss due to its resistances and akihiko/mitsuru cannot reapply debuffs to gain charge
so yukari is like the only character who could realistically build theurgia, but the boss could also just kill her and reset that

aoa has been fine for me so far, especially with priestess arcana in tartarus. obviously it's sometimes better to do other stuff but if you just need pure damage it's been slightly better than just a basic attack or spell and doesn't cost any sp. i assume it'll get worse as enemies get tougher though
ive also had a pretty great amount of luck landing dizzy with aoa, definitely a gamble and unreliable but it's been working for me so far at least with mobs haha

if your weapons are shit then yeah ofc the aoa will also be shit
you'll have weaker weapons sometimes because of the passives they have, so it's your choice what to have equipped
you want weapons for the effects mostly not the power
yeah that's what ive mostly been doing for my persona game playthroughs, plus outside of early game you really don't have many points where you're relying on pure weapon attacks unless you're saving sp on enemies that are already easy
Small correction, the call encounter is actually 0882 in the mod menu. Because encounter IDs (seemingly) has 4 digits, not 3
i mean its even weaker in MQ but in base game its also not good
like you can get the job done with it but you can do so with anything. There's just rarely a scenario where its even close to being the optimal move besides maybe random encounters

it's a move that costs nothing (unless you want to count fishing for weaknesses/crit as costing something), does guaranteed AOE damage, and can inflict dizzy
AOA's usually as good as the weapons you're using so if you don't have the mindset of using weapons for passives AOAs always do pretty sweet damage
looking at it from a random battle perspective though mainly, because with boss battles you don't often get the chance to do AOAs anyways
I could legit one-shot every encounter with an AOA at a point in Vanilla
Gotta say it would be good if certain weapons with good passives didn't get outdated damage-wise though to make AOA have good damage
They've got a whole special animation and everything and the game has a whole tutorial dedicated to it so it's obviously something they'd want you using
But then to get good AOA you have to get weapons that aren't outdated with the trade-off that now you don't get as many useful passives
I would say all out attacks becomes obsolete really early in the game in this mod. Like I would say after the block of tartarus but thats just me
They didn't feel obsolete but i inherently relied on them less in MQ due to it not really being a guaranteed kill

A random challenge idea I was thinking a...
do enemies have actual sp pools in this (or in vanilla for that matter) or can they just cast spells infinitely? i always thought an alt wincon style of play centered around sp drain was a cool idea (and from what i can remember that's only really been viable in smt nocturne with daisoujou), but sp drain is just kinda bad if you only gain sp without affecting the enemies' ability to do their moves. i did get some use out of it for tartarus exploration and grinding in vanilla but it was off my mitsuru and MC pretty soon once i got more consistent sp restore items

Normal enemies have a pool, it's really tiny in Thebel but large enough in the rest of the game that you'll likely never see it happen
Bosses are hardcoded to have infinite SP

I have had my share of fun draining all the SP from enemies and seeing them repeatedly fail to use magic

same thing with ailments, i wish they got to be a more integral part of the combat system but they're almost all basically a free win or massive damage if you land them, so having important bosses not null most or all of them is kind of mandatory

The one thing I guess where Reload is designed as an easier game is that the game actually fakes close calls to give the player a dopamine rush
They'll avoid hitting the protagonist or hitting party members that are low HP so you feel like you got lucky a lot
yeah i agree with ailments as they are currently, the reliable ones to land (except for distress ig) are way too strong for major bosses to get
i guess it's not so bad, they are still super helpful for mobs and minor bosses
Distress is usually the one I'd see be more usable actually
It's the incapacitating ones that weren't as usable
but at the same time all the good ones just make the bosses literal sandbags which isn't super engaging lol

i think it's relatively easy to fix too, just make it work like those supers and have it do big damage to feared enemies instead of just an instakill. you'd probably have to tweak fear to be less good on its own though to allow it to be applied to at least minibosses
fear cant be applied on bosses because it makes them instakillable (duh) but also they can run away

cleared the tank boss on my first few tries, this mod has really shown me how many bad habits ive developed in smt games because they let you get away with stupid shit lmao. i keep dying by trying to just spam attacks and kill the boss as fast as possible, but as soon as i slow down and properly buff, debuff and block when appropriate i clear within one or two tries assuming i havent screwed up item or persona management

Shamefully however, i have run out when i didn't manage my SP properly in some fights
Mostly with Ken or Protag

Biggest roadblock i ran into during Hermit was Ken running out of SP for Mediarama
