#Can't seem to import animations (psa) into blender

Been wanting to make a custom rig and retarget animations onto it for menus and battles but I keep getting errors when attempting to import animations onto the original rigs

also some meshes (not skeleton, that seems to work) just don't import for some reason what [see second image]

I’ve also been having this issue. I just swapped the model type in the settings but Im not sure if that works for animations as well

Changing them to export as a GLB files makes them import just fine into blender but you have to remap the textures in the materials manually

Might be a blender 4.0 issue. I cant import psk models using the plugin on blender 4.0 but it works fine on 3.6

I was able to import .psa animations to blender after importing SKEL_Human from P3R/Plugins/CharacterBase/Content/Human/Blueprints/Animation. Had to change the parents of the skeleton meshes from character/models folder in blender and update the deforming object. Not 100% working but it's a lot closer than I was before.

I've been able to get skeletal meshes into blender 3.5/3.6 by exporting them as psk. Then I can import psa animations onto their rigs.

Currently the only issue is the animation is playing upside-down but it's still playing.

Or check the github of the plug in to see if it's updated for 4.0
