#First playthrough of P3F; Does this look good and in the right order?

Hi I'm looking to actually play P3 Fes for once and not set it up ready to play and forget it exists. Wondering if there are any other essential or super helpful mods you would recommend that I also install? I am looking to get a close to vanilla experience but with direct commands because I really don't think I can get used to the tactics. Is new moon fine for a first playthrough? Let me know!

Thank you!!

new moon is fine but from my experience it makes things a little more confusing for a first playthrough bc there's a bunch of new skills added. one of the main things about that mod too is that it edits tactics, but if you're not using tactics, then it's not really relevant (and the tactics changes are more of a sidegrade than an upgrade)

(as a side note, I'd try to give tactics a fair chance, this is the only persona game that has actual functioning tactics and they work pretty well :p)

would recommend against new moon for my first playthrough?

those games have auto battle, it works differently from tactics.
I personally think it would be best to not use new moon for a first playthrough, it can be fun for subsequent playthroughs though

also not sure if you know but does the order of my mods look about right?

I don't see anything that looks off but I'm not really an expert in P3F modding so wait for someone else to verify tbh

ive been told using party control with p3f makes it way easier

you can keep the direct commands as it adds the option for direct commands but does not replace existing tactics. personally I think it's worth trying to learn tactics, but that way you can switch to direct commands if you just can't make the tactics work

#

(but it's up to you, you can use direct commands if you want and it honestly won't really negatively impact the gameplay much)

alright, thank you!
