#How to download and use 010 Editor?
94 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
010 editor is on the sweetscape website so get it there
don’t try to pirate it, it’s simple to get around the time limit
download the 010 editor templates from the TGE-was-taken github
get a copy of skill.tbl and modify that
you can use amicitia wiki to find blank skill slots
once satisfied you’ll need to edit a persona to have that skill
you can do that with a save file editor or editing persona.tbl
you’ll then need to include the pac file for the skill in your mod layout
If you don't mind, can you send the links of this tools to download it?
if you modified skill 90 or whatever, that’d be the hex equivalent, so you’d need 0A5.pac or whatever
replace the bed and acb from another skill from P4G or P3P
too much stuff to list, google is your friend
010 editor is on the sweetscape website like i said
github is github, so just google 010 editor templates TGE github
Sure, I already download it
you can dump your files and get the TBL files from init_free.bin in amicitia
that’s piracy, can’t send you that
i assume you have reloaded setup as well
you’ll need a dump of the game anyways for the skill slots
I am new on this modding thing, so, this is my first time trying to create something
if you’re interested in making it into a skill card and actually have a working skill, ping me in a few hours and i’ll walk you through that too
it’s a little more involved
Ah, sure
in the #1062319573472383006 there's a tutorial talking about the TBL files?
yeah it links to the github where the main templates are
Some o the tools says is for P4G 32-Bit
Does this tools still working with the 64-Bit version?
which tools
most should work fine yeah
besides aemulus obviously
we don’t use aemulus anymore sadly
we use reloaded
Yeah, I see
if you need help with reloaded i am not the guy for that
i am a hardware andy all the way
I moved to the P4G 64-Bit version
And I lose the Signature Skills mod
Cause still doesn't have the 64 bit port
Oh
we’re waiting on bmd merging
I have a question then
The Myriad Truths animation, will have the same as Morning Star or the same that InO uses in the Izanami?
That purple explosion
If my memory don't fail
probably morning star in all honesty
maybe unerring justice if you’ve seen that
i tried other ones and they just did not fit that well if i’m being honest with you
After some time without new video, I decided to make a skill exhibition for P4G as a 2k subs special, thank you so much guys. This video like the p5 one took me some time to make so I hope you guys like it.
00:00 Physical skills
04:31 Magic skills
09:13 Ailment skills
10:32 Healing skills
12:26 Support skills
15:25 Party members skills
18:50 En...
making skills is a bit much yeah
texture edits would be good
like texture model edits
modeling is good if you have a good enough PC
we love a good 64 bit porter
go for it lol
all you’d need to do is move the folders around with that one
and uh
probably do the prebuild.bat folder setup beforehand
So, I need to know how to fix some bugs in that mod.
read up on the reloaded documentation so you can get it worked out
Like, the game crashes in the hot spring cutscene
no idea
In the Marie route too
And Rise returns to her vanilla face during foggy days and in winter
Oh, and Yosuke loses his head in his Social Link event
I think it's because I was finishing his SL on winter season
Because on my first playthrough, I finish his SL with no problems
And was before Winter Season
follow this guide to get started on making mods. this is independent of your question but you need to do this before modding for the first time anyways. basically you need to dump your game files (extract them from the archives they're in) so you can edit them and then put them into mods
New in modding
So, I downloaded the tools already
And now, I need help to modify the textures
I saw that on GameBanana's P4G 64-Bit page, there is a tool that modifies the textures
It's called TMXConverter
tmxconverter merely converts the textures into readable formats for image editors
(Photoshop, paint.net, gimp, etc)
so for any TMX textures like portraits, you would convert them into iirc PNGs, edit them in your image editor of choice, and convert them back to TMXs
some files are dds; in that case you could just open those in an image editor but make sure to save them in the right format (I believe it's something something 7, but idr off the top of my head)
