#How do you compress files onto a .pac file?
63 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
you can use pakpack by ltsophia
but i’ve had issues with it
you should use amicitia to drag the base pac in and replace the files inside and then save
im dragging the base .pac file and it doesnt seem to open
what do i do
into amicitia?
mhm
can you try opening it manually
by clicking file and then open and then opening the file
what kind of a pac are you working on?
not working either
movie00002
im trying to replace the intro
32 bit
i think so?
im using the spanish patch
where i basically needed to
delete everything in the p4g folder and then replace all the files
with the spanish patch ones
although
can u give me the link to download pakpack?
maybe itll work with that
i fr cant find it anywhere
oh wait
ok so i found it
but it packs stuff onto .pak
does it work like that?
i think you need to pick which archive it packs it into
that’s why i could never get it to work
i didn’t know what pac needed which setting
ohhh
i see
wait how do u do that
with ctrl click onto a file right?
i realized i was using an old ver lmao
so do i like
unpack movie00002.pac
put the file to replace into the folder that appears
then what
Do i select both the folder and movie0002.pac and then select pack?
i’m a little confused about one thing
aren’t the movie files loose?
there is a tool for unpacking moving files for P4G
i can find it
it’s super outdated though and definitely isn’t needed
only reason you’d need it is if you’re not on the latest steam version
You need to use the preapp unpacker for the 32-bit pac files
Any pak/pac files inside of those initial pac files you need to use Amicitia or PersonaEditor for
Basically just drag movie.cpk onto it
And it will extract the contents of all the movie pacs
32-bit have fake CPKs that have all their files in pac files
