Hey why dont people AI generate voice lines that dont have a voice?

AI voice's are pretty good these days. It would also work pretty well for mods where people add events and shit.

I think it’s mostly ethics and that, kinda just taking advantage of the voice actor and using them without paying them

I don't really understand, it wouldn't be for monetary purposes but to flesh out a mod. Otherwise I would get it, also people already mass use AI generated voices. Mostly for memes, but there's male to female riverward variation for cyberpunk but that's not really the same.

Also its not like modders'll really have the money (or are willing) to commission their voices, especially for a mod being actively worked on they could have to pay thousands depending on the amount of lines they add. Or maybe only a couple hundred for a few, I dont know the cost of voice commission or if atlus will be happy with people commissioning their voice actors for a mod.

Hell I dont even know if you can contact VA's for a commission.

Yea, and I personally also think usage of AI voices is disrespectful unless it's just for funny shitposting

persona pages on gb don't allow this (admins have said for us specifically)

due to a large amount of persona vas being outspoken about not wanting their voices in ai
