I'm kinda at the point where I don't want to add any more outfit options to the main mod and would prefer them being addon mods

Hummm, I don't mind adding it as a configure option, so you can send it my way once it's finished. I also think your issue could be material related, so maybe copying material properties from the base model coat will work?
If there are other models you want to make, you can send them to me once they're finished too. That way, I can update the mod with more than 1 model

The default size of the mid winter casual outfit causes the waist to protrude, so I've applied a scale increase to the clothing plus deformation to the waist vertex.
did you fix the incorrect bust size?

The casual outfit uses Rise's body, so it's above average.
hopefully this doesnt cause too much confusion with it being separate for my mod and integrated for alt models

I had some black mesh for the outline and lining, so I used it just in case. Since it doesn't affect the functionality, I'll remove it.
The Alt Long Hair school outfit allows hair to pass through the fur, so the hair has been slightly adjusted.
Clipping is inevitable (and happens in atlus's own anims/models) so if you can't fix clipping I wouldn't worry about it too much
I've edited the lighting around the light source for the material. By default, it glowed like indoor heating and lighting combined.
I've also changed the texture format from gnf to dds.
Yeah, don't worry about the long hair clipping. It's going to happen regardless, especially if se turns her head right or left
As for the bust : I think it can be adjusted by selecting the faces of the two meshes and resizing them (not moving them). They might need to be resized separately, but I think that's doable

The mid winter school outfit had a merciless gap at the bust, so I sculpted it up using X-symmetry. Since it'll be hidden by the muffler, the sculpting is pretty rough...
Don't worry, some of that stuff can't be seen in game anyway

Well, I think it's just her neck that's clipping. It's just that animation in particular, so I don't think it's too much of a bother

If can shape the waist properly, should be able to avoid the Z-Fight and return to the default size.
It seems a bit challenging, but I plan to try dressing Yukiko in her casual outfit too.
I've (mostly) managed to fix by duplicating the mesh, inverting the normals and fusing them

I would not make it see through, it's likely to me much more noticeable in a different event or place

I forgot to rename the material name's for the face and the eyes, so the darkened face and the yellow eyes are not working. Other than that, it seems like the model is great in game

If by slot, you mean assigned to the right mesh, this isn't an issue because it's just blender duplicating the textures/meshes when they are copied. All the properties are copied

When she’s next to the NPC Kasumi, their outfits are basically matching. Part of me wants to give her a summer school outfit variant too, but if that’s the setup—sisters, maybe even twins—the matching look kind of works.
i don't really mind the matching uniforms, i personally think its fitting for the two of them since they're twins
i'm glad we are at least getting alternatives for casual wear though, as it gives them the chance to shine individually outside of school + its a neat way to show that even though they are twins, they have their own distinct personalities and aren't a carbon copy of each other
the whole "matching outfits" outside of uniforms between twins kinda stops at a certain age (right after pre-teen years) so its good that we at least get different outfits outside of school and i'm thankful for that 🩷
quick minor suggestion while we're on the topic of casualwear, would we be able to incorporate yukiko's outfits for other seasons? since her color palette is already red for the other seasons i thought it'd be a great alternative for kasumi, plus their styles are somewhat similar

Sure. I wasn't sure, but it looks like I have it in my models mod too
I'll keep the old one, name it "Legacy" and replace the "Alt" with this one
I think I'm done tweaking the models. It was quite a bit of more fixing the clipping, the holes, the missing normals...
Also, I've adjusted the material properties so shadows/light can be projected on them (like the ponytail shadow)

Converting P3R assets for P5R was a real pain... When I imported them, the meshes were all merged together, the materials were different, the textures were different, and the vertex counts were way too high—it was driving me nuts.
For someone barely past beginner level like me, it was way too difficult.

For the Kasumi as Protagonist's outfit, after determining the wear season, I'll pack it to add-on.
the boots look a little chunky, are they like that on dancing yukari's model too? 😮
Since it was imported from the P3D model, it should be identical.
Due to the foot mesh, the boots themselves are slightly larger to allow for some room. (This is because there are opportunities to remove the shoes, and a barefoot mesh is also included inside the shoes.)
It may be possible to make the boots smaller.

yukari's winter casual for fall/winter with rise's midwinter outfit for third semester feels like a good combination i think because it looks like the pieces all come from the same closet

@zealous fjord The .GMD file I sent has its texture modified for black knee-high socks. If you don't want to use the socks, please replace it with the original C0001_004_00Texture. If that's too much trouble, I can send you the texture from my end.

Also, I have discovered that the maid outfit for Kasumi has knee-high socks that are a separate mesh. You can the leg being "squizzed" a little, that a nice attention to detail
Yukari's outfit knee-high socks were painted directly onto the textures, so maybe the edges may appear blurred depending on the viewing distance.😔
Yeah, any other details are probably done via reload 's texture maps so I wouldn't worry about it

It's the shadow texture I think. If you click on the mesh and go to shading, you'll find something like that

The model won't a dedicated shadow texture, but the shadow of other objects will still show on it
Also, those P4D/P3D already have some kind of shadow textures in their diffuse

Technically, yes. But the mods only allow protag Kasumi to wear them.
For Sumire, the files would need to be moved to another directory to override Sumire's models. Also, her bustups will be unchanged

Yes, the vertex groups in particular prevent the neck from clipping during animations (very noticeable on the earlier models)
Oh and also there should be a Costumes folder so the alt midwinter costume models are actually used when selecting them

This is what's going on. They're not the same ribbon, so of course the textures won't match both. You actually have to delete the green ribbon mesh and copy a red ribbon mesh into the Yukiko model. Then, you just need to parent the red ribbon the Yukiko model and it'll work
