yeah but unity uv maps have per mesh ofsets
so each one has a different uv coordinate

figured i should drop this here incase anyone wants to help out (which would be massively appreciated) but i'm planning on updating the Wonder Over Joker mod and subsequently my other P5X models to take advantage of the P3R Shader bc it looks really nice so if anyone wants to help convert the textures it would be really helpful
I'm planning to install another SSD to my PC soon. So, once that comes in and installed properly, then I'll look into that
i have no idea how materials work but i can 100% help with converting textures
do i just have to convert textures to look like the ones with this mod?
Joker was already in reload, so nothing was changed there
I did this with akashi
I used gaussian blur on the fabric texture of the clothes, made a black snd white version of the texture (and I believe I lightened it) and then shoved it into the alpha channel
tbf thinking about it i could just lob it into a chainier script

I found using gaussian blur on p5x clothes with a visible fabric texture better blended with Reload, but that's just me
i think the B channel of the pk can be used for this
maybe it'll be fine ingame but the base texture will have the painted shadows so it might look bad
Are you trying to actually emulate reloads style with the textures or just make the p5x ones more compatible with it
maybe the outline color textures (for those that have them) could be reused, with some manual painting of gradients it could look

Then for shadow map you will want to use a mixture of ao and normal map to make it. I had a blend for making it but it was private and not sure Dniwe wanted me to share so I'll ask him. Either way use a mix of those then color correct to make a nice shadow map.
The rest of the maps can either be dummied or transferred over 1:1 essentially (I think p5x has rimlight, specular, and metal map?)
Idr if the p5r shader has shadow color (sch) texture. If it does use my sch maker on my github, however you need to mask the skin out and manually adjust skin tone for shadow color to look good (just make it match whatever you do for other outfits on said character). You can also be a little extra and mask out lineart in diffuse and instead put in the lineart texture, I don't think it's always necessary though, especially for this.
If naming schemes are consistent you can automate directly transferring textures over. To make shadow map and shadow color look good you will always need to manually do them though.
Also another thing to note is specular is included in shadow map in a lighter shade to affect rimlight.
p5x has some of the most inconsitent textures i've ever seen
sometimes characters just don't have shadow/outline textures either
PK/NM/BC are consistent though
exluding the outline clipping this looks really nice

tbh closer over ann is like the closest to being done, just needs bustups redone and an a couple more outfits but then it's finished iirc, both wind and soy are incredibly unfinished, wind is probably gonna end up getting completely redone and i'll scale the model down to her proportions instead of scaling hers up to meet makoto's bc currently theres clipping in some of her p5x anims
there's the p3r wonder model and the hooded one too here, and just a femc model/ anims using berry's rig and then the first 2 fields of palace 1
I can see how the Wind over Queen mod being very unfinished(mainly by how Wind’s model looks really distorted in a way I can’t describe without sharing a screenshot)

I am happy to see the Soy over Ryuji mod working fine for the most part. It is kinda cursed seeing Shun with a hunched(ish) like back and smiling like he'sm Ryuji but I think thats pretty good as like a early alpha(like) mod
Tbh there's no guy characters that are 1:1 to Ryujj in P5X (personality wise)

Well, the reason why I said it here is because Mocha also has a side project of putting p5x outfits over og Phantom Thieves that he said here, and I suggested the new closer outfit on ann
I don't understand why he said that he'll still use okyann instead of the new closer with the only reason being "that is still closer"
