I've found a lot of the battle lines in umd1/data/sound/voice, but I can't find some of the other voice lines like their grunts, hurt noises, etc. Where are those located?

proper jackal i am not sure about this, but they may be with the models.

I did see a little bit about that when i was searching the server for info on the location but it sounded like they were in pacs as well, so I kinda looked to no avail. I'm not familiar at all with model editing though...

they're inside "model/pack" inside of the pacs

they're in .pse files set up as .vag files

is there anything i have to do after to play those specific .vag files to figure out which one is what? foobar doesn't want to play them

yeah I was more asking because I can open .vag files from other locations with foobar (ex: the sound effects, or even Naoto's voice lines from the Naoto mod)
but I can't open these
