I'm looking to only use a model swap mod and I don't want to go through the hassle of installing Reloaded and any other necessary programs to do so. Since it's just a basic model swap, is there some way to just unpack, replace, and repack the files? I was told somewhere else that there's something called ciripakgui I can use to do that and that it could be downloaded here, but I did a search and got zero results.

Takes closer look Ah. That's the issue. What I was told to search for had an extra i in it. Instead of cripak I was searching for ciripack
Well, that'll help with unpacking, but what about repacking.
Also, that still doesn't really tell me the process of how to do it.
yeah reloaded-ii is probably more user friendly given cripak is geared towards mod creators
Well has it become more Linux friendly? Because I actually tried doing a similar model swap mod for P4G on my Steam Deck in the past, but I couldn't open the Reloaded installer, even when I tried multiple programs meant to open .exe files.
Or was it the other required P4G modding program that didn't work? Hmm...
according to the reloaded ii website it works on Linux
I think you're talking about Aemulus not working
that one has stuff that doesn't go well with Wine
yeah I think we're just using reloaded ii for it
Tekka was planning on adding Aemulus support but Reloaded ii might take over
Yeah, Aemulus, that's it. I knew it was either Reloaded or some second program that I couldn't remember that was keeping me from modding P4G. If all I need is Reloaded though, then I should be able to get it to work.
I'll mark this as solved once I get the mod installed.
Just in case something doesn't work right.
Okay, apparently the version of Wine and/or Proton that I have on my Steam Deck is broken because while both launch, they don't do anything.
Are you following the recommended guide?

Ah. No. No I didn't. I didn't realize I needed to edit settings in Flatseal. Well regardless, I followed the guide exactly, but P5R isn't showing up on the application list on the left.
Scratch that. I just had to restart Reloaded.
Okay, well now it won't launch the game, so I'm trying to use the ASI loader, but the instructions for doing so aren't exactly clear. The DLL file in their example earlier was named VERSION.DLL. Should I just replace "version" in their example with the DLL name I got when I activated the ASI loader?
Never mind. I got it.
