If you look at Hayfas skin drawn by the same artist, you can see a large difference between Sakaris take and the new artists take

But I've always held the headcanon that Hayfa is a djinn, and Lana being one as well might not be out of the equation

Hayfa being a djinn was due to a few reasons

1. Her trailer description mentions her blood is highly venomous. Aka her S3's whole poison thing? That's not coming from nowhere, that's her blood

Her BLOOD can, judging by the icon arts and descriptions, boil to 500°C on its own to melt people, explode, and home in on enemies

2. She has several shapeshifting based skills ranging from pulling up a sand copy of herself, turning invisible with no external forces (items or realm power), and even turn into a black cloud enemies can clearly see. Djinns have many shapeshifting abilities and invisibility mentioned in their powers in legend

The blood part alone points at the unlikelihood of her being a human because human blood doesn't work like that

If Lana is related to her in some way, there is the possibility of either friends, sisters, rivals, or cousins. Any can be possible.

Lana's humanity is less questionable than Hayfas because we don't have anything as absurd like her blood working like a xenomorph to an extent.

I just like to imagine she is a djinn because I think that makes the party lineup cooler
