➤ Tokens
Well, i know what some of you are thinking and honestly, i also dislike games that have too many currencies.
However, this Tokens system is designed to be cleaner and balanced:
It is separate from Gems and Coins
Tokens are earned:
⤷ daily, through simple tasks
⤷ from expeditions in the Cave
- tokens can be used only for cosmetics (except skins and pets)
In my opinion, tokens should never be used to purchase items that give players an in-game advantage
➤ Recruitments
The area that was always “under construction” and that everyone was waiting for.
My idea was for it to become a hero recruitment area, but not in an easy way.
In Recruitments, there are 4 main categories, which im confident you will enjoy:
𖤐 Stuff
The place where you can buy:
Emotes + Titles
Graffiti
Banners
Accepted currencies:
Tokens
Gems
🔹 Emotes
You can equip up to 4
Used as in-game reactions
Provide no gameplay advantage
🔹 Titles
Every player can choose a title they like
Titles come bundled with the emote you purchase
🔹 Graffiti
You can equip only 1
Shares the same slot as emotes
In-game:
⤷ you mark an area on the ground with graffiti
⤷ lasts 10 seconds
⤷ cooldown: 25 seconds
🔹 Banners
Appear on your profile at the end of a fight
For players who want to flex a bit in front of their friends
𖤐 Tasks
🔸 Daily Tasks
You receive tasks every day
Completed through normal gameplay activities
Rewards:
Tokens
Each task has a progress percentage
🔸 Monthly Tasks
Slightly more difficult
Better rewards:
Tokens
Coins
Gems
🔸 Challenges (the most important system)
These represent global player progression, regardless of which hero you use
Challenges evolve through Tiers
Tiers:
Tier I ╰┈➤ very basic, easy challenges with small rewards
Tier II–III ╰┈➤ harder challenges with better rewards
Tier IV–V ╰┈➤ very difficult challenges with late-game rewards
Tier VI ╰┈➤ end-game tier, for the best players with perfect builds in the game:
⤷ special rewards
⤷ available only here
⤷ designed for the best players with unique playstyles
𖤐 Heroes
Why are the heroes here and not in the Tavern?
╰┈➤ Because this is where you recruit them.
To recruit heroes:
⤷ you must complete special missions
⤷ the process is intentionally not easy
Requirements:
⤷ you must own at least 2 heroes from the Tavern
⤷ each hero in Recruitments has unlock requirements
Quest system:
⤷ you can have only 1 active quest
⤷ quests must be completed using 2 heroes
⤷ progress remains even if you change heroes
⤷ quests can be canceled at any time
❓ Are these heroes stronger than the existing ones?
Honestly ||no.||
╰┈➤They are equally powerful
╰┈➤Use similar or different weapons
╰┈➤Some are more unique
╰┈➤But, balance decisions are left to the players
𖤐 Modifiers
This is not a simple system and that is intentional.
Have weapons with weak modifiers?
╰┈➤Don’t sell them yet
How it works:
Unequip modifiers (they cannot be re-equipped)
Select 4 modfiers from inventory
Add them into the “Random Modifier”
Press Unlock (free)
Wait up to 2 seconds
Receive a random modifier:
⤷ it can be worse
⤷ or, in the best case, +1 star compared to what you submitted
Modifier Refresh:
If you dislike the result:
⤷ first refresh costs 4,000 coins
⤷ each refresh after that doubles the cost (x2)
There is no guarantee of getting a better modifier
⚠️ Important:
You can equip only modifiers obtained through this system
Modifiers from inventory cannot be equipped
⤷ frustrating, but well balanced
➤ Cave
The place where you send heroes on expeditions (don't worry you can still use them).
You can obtain very good rewards
Uses a Tier-based system, similar to Challenges
You receive:
1 expedition per day
1 free refresh
Expedition Level (ExLevel):
Each expedition grants XP
Higher ExLevel = better expedition rewards
ExLevel progression is intentionally slow
Time:
Between 5 seconds and 4 hours
Uses in-game time, not real time
➤ Practice
A custom room system for testing and experimentation with friends:
Create a custom room
Invite friends
Requirement:
⤷ everyone must have the selected content unlocked
If you are the Admin:
⤷ friends without your unlocked content cannot play
What you can do:
Choose campaign levels (only those you have unlocked)
Customize game conditions
Spawn mobs (only unlocked ones)
Use tools without limits
And many others things!

⤷ custom scenarios
⤷ mini-games
⤷ god mode experiments (for fun)
➤ Feast Hall
Different from Practice.
You create a campaign setup
Play with friends:
⤷ in-game voice chat
⤷ music > youtube links
Easily switch between:
Campaign
Practice
╰┈➤ Feast Hall is the most friendly and social place, where you simply gather with friends and play together.
➤ Weekly Boss Battle
Challenge yourself to defeat a random Void-Infused Boss every weekend.
The event lasts 2 days (48 hours)
Each day you receive 2 attempts
Bosses rotate every weekend and are always different
Available only in:
Rookie League
Gladiator League
Champion League
These bosses are much stronger versions of existing in-game bosses.
Tier System
There are 6 tiers, each representing a survival threshold.
The longer you survive, the stronger the boss becomes
Upon reaching 10 minutes, the boss will one-shot you
→ this means you have won and reached the final tier
Rewards
Each tier grants specific rewards
Rewards are repeatable
Higher tiers provide the same rewards in significantly larger quantities
Co-op Rules
You can play together with friends via Feast Hall
Allowed level difference:
⤷ same level
⤷ or ±15 levels
⚠️ Note:
Rewards are not shared between players.
➤ Reroll Modifier (Storage)
This system is different from the Modifier system in Recruitments.
Costs a large amount of Coins
Allows you to reroll an existing modifier
You receive a new random modifier
The modifier keeps the same number of stars
╰┈➤ Expensive, but offers a direct alternative to the Random Modifier system.

I read all the posts by the community and there are several ideas that are essential for the game, ideas that could give it a stronger identity and make certain battles far more engaging, while also adding a great deal of diversity to the overall gameplay.

there are a few things the game needs, but after the game will reach the stage it was now a few years ago so, these concepts are more like “what if” ideas, how it would be and what it would look like if we had this and i really have fun doing this

tbh the game is really boring, no matter if they will add the old stuff back, at some point people will get bored, it lacks diversity, almost everyone will continue to farm the most op stuff by flexing with posting modifiers on weapons and that's about it, that's the only essence, at least for me
y game need more content cuz In the end, there’s nothing left to do
so let's look from a simple perspective: the game has been revived and i respect that, then they didn't make it a p2w, which again, respect, but if in the end we're playing an old game from a few years ago with the style from back then, which i like, but at some point, no matter how much i love the game, the gameplay it becomes, again, boring
that's because we've gotten used to more modern games, things are meant to evolve, if things stagnate, then the game stagnates too and will not evolve
we play the game because it's nostalgic, but now we have a chance to build the game together, add the simple things we need, more attention to the details, even if the style is old, it needs polishing (and if a "door opens" someday, honestly i can make 3D models in Blender or Maya, then turn them into sprite sheets, i don't like working for someone, but in my free time, when im not at job, i'd like to make some models and then show them if the community wants that ofc)
but since almost all in-game content is old and really needs an upgrade, the heroes, mobs, UI, and many other elements of the game, except for the weapons
so even if the game were complete, it still wouldn't be enough
what it needs, core stuff:
- more things to do in the game, more activities
- battles to be more interesting, events, maybe some guild boss battles
- more cosmetic items that don't give an advantage; do you like a hero?et's add cosmetic items for that hero, not just skins
- adjustments to things in the game; there is already a list above with all the adjustments the game should have in addition to all the old content that needs to be added
ye... as i said they extending the "full realease" of the content, but lets be honest im not a programmer or something like that but, with AI u can resprite and re-scale all of the art in... what... 2 weeks if this is a "side project" bc ofc their life doesnt go around this old game but cmon man..

Yeah, exactly, they need more of these things if their target player type is socializer, since the game is a co-op PVE game.... Other than socializer, their target player was probably achievers (from what i see in game content), however the legendary chest is unavailable now, which crashes the entire design features to support them. Moreover it does not even have a achievement & in-game accolades.
The game currently, no challenge (hard mode like Ultimate Rampage), no competitive & achievement system (eg. Rankings leaderboards, you could just made up a stage clear time ranking, endless stage or whatsoever though...), no progress (no access to legendary chest, to get the best weapon you liked, or etc), no retention & churn (other than that 60gems, which you need to spend less than 1 minute to complete).
After completing all the stages for all characters, nothing else you could do with it other than burning off your nostalgia feeling for the game :/
As how it is currently I'll probably quitting soon as feelings for it dies...

not gonna lie broski that's on you your dopamine is fucked but for me who is only 20, works get out of work train mma and repeat the cycle, playing this game is perfect for me, i don't give a single f about modern game anymore, i am an old cs player and since cs2 came out i stopped playing video game mainly bc i couldnt launch cs2 xD, now i got free time, no social media, i jailbroke my ps3 to always play LBP when i am bored and now i have LBP + Dungeon rampage, my life is great right now but i understand and agree with all the points you made, but maybe you should detox yourself find other things to do and you will see that the only thing that you will want to do is to play a game with no tryhards and just farm or fun without stressing about the shitty game you just made and the derank you will have

I completely understand your point, I'm sure others like the game in its current form too. However, in 2026 there is a level that the mass majority of people expects, and when you develop a game, you have to take this mass into account. I think the concepts above could be perfectly implemented into the game, as written, with relatively little time investment (I'm not a programmer, so I don’t know for sure)
