Always get spike shoes from yeti mama in ice caves for an easy hundun kill

The sun challenge can be cheesed with 2 bombs placed under the top left enemy spawner or top right enemy spawner or 1 bomb with paste.

If your good at vlad cape skip you can always get climbing gloves by stealing a dice in tidepool from madame tusk then give a hired hand the clonegun and make it to 6-3 with a dice in your hand and the hired hand alive with clonegun then kill every guard in 6-3 and clone the dice once and roll the dice until you get a 6 and a 4 then sacrifice both dice to get climbing gloves on the guaranteed 6-3 altar in Madames Palace.

I'm in the same boat. And lately not having luck even when I get to Hundun. Keep getting poisened in my panic to get to the top while also carrying the bow. Not that I even get there that often.

I find myself having to hurry up. I guess I may be too careful at first, and then am forced to speed up, which results in getting hit by an arrow trap. Oof.

The biggest tip I can give is genuinely, just keep playing. Stop playing when you don't want to, don't force yourself, Spelunking is supposed to be fun for everyone! Only recently, i personally had my first CO entry, at around 250~ hours of playtime. Before that, I felt it was impossible for me to even get that far, but now, only days after my first entry, I've gotten there three times already, and I'll get there more and more often! trial and error, really
sometimes derek yu fucks you over and doesn't give you enough bombs to get to walter, othertimes you get a BIT too close to those spikes in tidepool

keep perfecting your strategy, and keep being persistent

also try not to get mad, as you make bad plays while malding

I finally did it a few nights ago. Felt so great! I died in 7-6, unsurprisingly. Got stunned and then cursed in a jungle 7-5 and then got Temple and didn't last long. CO was super fun. I just want to get back there again.

Was also only the 2nd time I'd won the sun challenge. Fairly cleanly, at least until about 5 seconds left. Then everything went awry, but I survived.
