#tree farming spell

and idk if this might help but maybe make the delay longer for the fell
idk tho tbh
Yea, add a few more grows
As said, you just need more grows. Each grow has a % chance of advancing the tree to the next growth stage, and then there's 2 grow th stages for most saplings. 45% for most vanilla saplings to grow to the next stage and the intermediary stage means a minimum of 2 grows to get a full tree and an average of just a little over 4 grows. 7 grows gives you a 90% chance of a full tree. So I usually stuff as many grows as I can. I've never done the analysis to see what is the optimal number of grows in terms of source cost. Note to self: ask if Qther has done that analysis, and if not then do that analysis myself
Here's a tree spell I often use:

x6
for a smallish tree, like a spruce or birch or small oaks. Note I don't use any
. I handle the item pickup either with a rune, a separate turret, something like sophisticated storage magnet upgrade. If I'm after bigger trees like archwood, then I use a second turret for the
so that I can use lots of
.
This in depth response was goated
Thank you guys ima give this a whirl
hey any time there's a question I know a good amount about and the question isn't "how do I do tons of damage", I'm pretty inclined to infodump 🙂
yeah idc about damage spells and crap at all ngl
my homie started spawning pressed silicone by the thousands and that is what made me wanna get into it fr
the magic is different than anything from back when i played
so i made my way to the unobtanium book in ATM10 which allows you to use more spell mods and i think i got it working ( only with small trees and 1 sapling at a time ) !
ill throw a ss up tomorrow when im alive
ty gang
Welcome back to modded 1.20! I'm looking to do more building, but I need a tree farm to get the material I need. What's a mage to do?
I saw this, but it’s not quite what I’m trying to learn
Very small scale in comparison to what I was shown
okay
I forgot to mention I got it working flawlessly
I just have to figure out how to cast faster like my buddy was
Awesome, congrats!
Next to learn how he made printed silicone out of air !
Do you have Create mod? The pulse timer or whatever it’s called is perfect
For wot
The pulse timer is great for making clocks that pulse at any speed you want
Oh I’m doing souly with just spell book, he didn’t use a turret when he showed me so I haven’t bothered with em
Ye he ran so much material so fast I don’t see a turret necessary
I’m focusing on learning how to use the book like him
In that case, I’ve often just held the right mouse button down to grow fast and let my bookwyrm familiar pick up all the drops
Again, just to grow faster. Maybe I misunderstood, thought that’s what you meant
Idk what a flarecannon is
Now I need to learn how to cast faster
Oh
lol
Flarecannon is essential to what I am doing
Can get inf casting with it.
What is flare cannon from?
Ars elemental
Makes sense
That’s likely why you probably think I’m a wacko for spell book only for these
You can cast with no cooldown and essentially no mana usage when set up right allowing for a even crazier result in spells
In the allthemods10 pack they have another spell book you can make that holds 2x the glyphs, also
Yeah, I've played with both Elemental & ATAG gear in one of my servers. 20 glyph slots was pretty awesome (and not because of high damage, but because of all the new or better utility or fun spells i could make). Flarecannons are new to me, but I see them in JEI, I guess I just never noticed them!
How are you using them to get super fast spell? From my read of them, the familiar just gives some fire buffs, and the regular flarecannon mobs just cast a variation of projectile->flare at enemies
havent gotten the quick cast figured out yet, the flare cannon also doesnt quite do what it says
it has a full reduction for the requirement to projectile casts
so you can cast a high mana proj over and over and over
which is what feed the quick cast
you just summon it, and bind with the tablet of binding
