Hi, I really like the mod, but I think there are not enough bosses and the wildenchimera is too easy. I think it would really fit into the theme to at more and stronger bosses to get a new challanges in the game.Like special bosses for dimensions.Thanks

Yeah. Turns out minecraft is a cheesable game. Bosses at least get to only be encountered by prepared players, so that lets you dial up the challenge without ganking random earlygame players.

I wonder what the ars presence in other dimensions would look like. Ars additions has some interesting stuff.

we have some ideas for a boss that should hopefully cut down on the common cheese, but it's inevitable

If you want challenges you should uninstall ars nouveau
This mod way too op and Is also easy to progress trough it

An actual difficult boss would need a damage cooldown that can't be bypassed with heal dampen at the end of some spam spell and the ability of trowing spell at the player as well as some spell reflecting mechanics

anyway:
Different bosses could interact differently to spells to make it more interesting...
And it could go beyond just elemental weaknesses or immunities - You could have one boss erase all magic projectiles, but be unable to do anything to forms that cast spell instantaneously, or have a Boss that upon receiving spell - cast it's copy as it's caster back at you, meaning you have to design a spell that can hit the boss, but not you (a gravity projectile could work really well since you could cast it from above the boss and it couldn't reach you back).

You could have a boss that is extremely difficult with massive pool of health, but take like triple damage from specific school of magic and it could change between them on a locked cycle to allow all schools to shine in the combat with it (he should NEVER be immune to any of the schools though because that kind of turns it into that one other boss fight where a guy was only weak to one specifically colored stick which both limited damage AND made fight heavily unfun).

It was sealed away in its own glyph because with the gatlings it was just destroying any attempt to make a boss challengeable in packs
