#Ice Machine

What is the ice used for?
I am building a great wall
So is that all there is to the spell, no pickup or anything?
Also, manipulation infused turret? Not familiar with that one.
the screen cut off but the last part after extract was pickup
here's the big wall lol
I have a question, if pickup is used by a spell turret does the item go to you directly?
Sadge. Imagine doing this plus jar of voiding
So how do you make that turret then, because that spell needs it?
you can do
for wireless pickup
manipulation infused turret does require ars elemental
but it acts as if you had a blockshapers focus - when it creates water any next part of the spell is cast on the water (freeze freeze break etc)
Dangit, so not one I can make.
Yeah, familiar with that part. Very neat design either way!
You can do delay
Delay works? Hm.
I could do that then, yeah.
Anyways, have to run. The land of Nod beckons to me. Will look in when I wake up!
The power of Vending Machines will be mine!
for some reason i can't get a regular turret to cast conjure water lol
You might need to do
before
tried that, weirdly didnt work. projectile does tho
Could also do arc and point it upward then wait for it to fall down tho i imagine the server wont like that
i have tried several methods without using block shaping and it is not working
depending on how much ice you need you can just do it manually
highly recommend elemental lol i couldnt imagine playing without it
@next jetty here's a working machine without manip turret
ignore placeholder spell name lol it was a name spell for a rainbow jelly
Appreciate it, though sadly it is the solution I came up with myself just scaled down 😆
But, I will make it work!
Well in that case I think you made the best use of all the available resources! I wouldn’t call it pedestrian or clumsy at all
Compared to yours it is! But it's fine, I am making a more novel one using Ars Noveau and Create.
With the timer I have in mind it'll make 8 ice/4 ticks which... should be enough.
When running, that is. I prefer high rate of production kept up for a short period, rather than constant creation and voiding.
damn yeah that is very respectable. what is it you're using the ice for?
would be interested to see your final design if you want to share
Oh, nothing. I just decided to make a vending machine for it. One-button press sort of thing.
My thinking is that one button press will keep it running for six seconds, during which it will be spewing out ice.
Should be enough for whatever anyone has in mind.
I actually love that lol, feels like a restaurant
Mm. My current idea is to make the ice under the building, the machine will just be a wireless redstone contact from Create, and then use a chute and a portal to spew it out.
So the above surface "machine" will just be 3x3x2. Probably built into a wall.
So, what is the output rate of this thing? Made a new modpack, more up to date and with more expansions.
I'm considering doing a similar setup to rapidly create sand.
Well, similar setups honestly. For cobblestone, gravel, etc.
The output would vary based on which block you’re trying to make, some require less glyphs so you can fit more aoe, and vice versa. The one that makes blue ice does a 2x2 every time it casts, not sure how fast an observer clock runs but it’s gotta be like 8 blocks every 2 game ticks? Or something like that
With cobble you could fill it with aoe and pierce to make a lot more:
:conjure_terrain:

The only limiting factor becomes making sure you can get enough source into the system fast enough
Yes, I knew that would vary, the question was about the ice machine. And fair enough, good to know.
Gives me a baseline for rate of operation.
so, i'm trying to make this work for me, but the conjure water turrent isn't making the water?
Probably a claims mod interfering, do you have the area claimed?
it was in fact claim issue, thank you
sorry to necro, what is is this?
non cobble generator
2 are create recipes, 1 is starbunclemania
infinite sourcestone is lovely tho
how do u liquify source?
this looks so efficient
maybe i should look into create 😄
Source condenser from starbunclemania
Thank you for this, may I use it?
Will be for making dry ice for a reactor im gonna put together
