#Lightning Teleport

i'd like to have it strike where i am and where i will end up at the same time
i'm by no means looking for efficiency here, only pizzaz.
so far I simply have this which unfortunately hurts myself which i dont really want but if its unavoidable that's fine
did u tried delay btween blink and lightning?
this works more or less but i take quite a lot of damage and probably would die were it not for the aethermancer armor
i wish there was a way to have the lightning strike after i move so i avoid the damage
there's just no way to cause two effects to happen at once it has to be all in one effect
Try overhead propagate arc?
i dont have overhead in this modpack
Do blink first then reset?
having the lightning strike in two places at once as a requirement makes the execution of this really difficult
maybe some shenanigans with block shapers focus resolving spells on the blocks it affects?
like

saves a lot of accelerates too by only actioning the spell once you hit a block it can action on
if you don't want to mangle the terrain where you go you can open with conjure mageblock
could apply a similar principle with a summoners focus and 
with the added benefit of leaving a wounded decoy behind in your wake
could even lifelink it to mitigate some of the lightning damage

you'll always get damage cause the lightning have a small delay before it falls. so you either get hit by the one where you blink or the one you blink from.
that said, projectile -> lightning -> delay (
needed maybe ) -> blink -> reset -> pSelf -> lightning might perhaps work?
The layman's option is just to get reactive with healing and dispel on your armor to tank the damage
also works to midigate the damage done but there's only so much space and it being a teleport I feel like Ray would be the best option since its instant.
Ray also requires an extra addon, though
forgot about reset tbh
though I quite like my decoy swap idea
im still unfamiliar with what reset even does, the tooltip is confusing.
will test when I can be bothered to make a summoners focus

it resets the target to the initial target
after a form propagation
Taking the spell I wrote as example, when you put delay you make a subcontext (think of it as an open parenthesis) of the main context
With reset, you close that parenthesis and allow the following glyph to not be delayed but resolve right after lightning
That applies for anything else that create a subcontext, like
type or
type

i just tested your spell and it almost works exactly how i want but in reverse
it strikes the location first then blinks and strikes me
which is in the same spot

Call lightning on the spot, move to caster and call lightning on that spot, then return to hit spot and use it to teleport caster
Unsure on how to avoid damage
that does work, its so fast its hard to tell but with some fast camera moves i can see it
and the damage is kinda unavoidable as said above and thats not really the main issue, i just wanted the look of the spell to work the way i wanted
t4 aethermancer with pro IV on everything is pretty good at midigating the dmg as is
so i can just slam Dampen on each of those lightnings to further reduce it
good enough thanks a bunch!
and then with the artifice stuff yeah auto heal would help out a lot so then you can swap out the dampens with accelerates to make the teleport happen faster/sooner.
and I can't stress this enough, this is simply for coolness factor not efficiancy/ease of use/ effective means of teleporting.
