WHat are the basics of getting around player immunity?

what i learned is

normally iframes trigger when you take damage, and you are immune to anything else for the next 10 ticks that does less damage than that first hit. Anything that does more damage, you take the difference between the old damage and the new damage

player immunity is cancelled by hitting a person with healing while they have the hellfire effect which is caused by ignite with a fire focus
