So ive setup the loot generation to use recipes so @languid gorge can be evil, but also to weight which loot tables can be pulled from. So all loot tables that use sand like the desert well, pyramid, and warm ocean will be pulled from when the crab yoinks sand, and the other loot tables for gravel
And the more rare ones like desert pyramid are less commonly polled

As much as a magical crab turning the oceans into more of a nope-factory than regular Minecraft, I recall the first skeleton I ever saw in any modpack with Ars had blasting. Which promptly spawn camped my skyblock base.

Could be, but also with supplimentaries, skeletons can spawn with the quiver, and if they do they get random tipped arrows lol

which is funny because that was the actual inspiration for loading up skellies with nasty arrows in the first place

FTB Skies, actually. Then it happened again in Arcane Isles. So if the crab has an annoying ability, I'll probably be getting that in the face with my bad RNG in my next magically themed water adventure.

Can the crabs also get the happiness mechanic applied, so better processing rates based on nearby blocks?

I feel like decorated pots with some sort of weird calculation on 'pots with matching icons' and 'pots with all different icons'
Pots and terracotta but they only raise happiness to a certain lower threshold
Then anything higher, u need stuff like ore/mineral/metal blocks since they have a low chance of generating those as well

Yeah it does feel pretty slow, it ends up with people stacking 10+ karky
Yet if you leave them running in the background a single one will fill a max-sized diamond Sophisticated backpack on just 6k or 7k in sand and the same in gravel.
