#is there a method to making your own spells for whatever you want?

the sky alone is the limit when creating spells (except for mana cost but and glyph restrictions)
yes.
I suggest you play in creative with the creative spell book first.
once you have one, press C to make your first spell.
the little squares at the top are glyphs and below them is a hotbar-like shape, that's your spell
@cyan vale purple glyphs are form glyphs, so if you start your spell with
(self )it will apply the spell to you.
blue glyphs are the things that do the magic, for example,
makes a temporary block.
yellow glyphs are augments that modify the glyph right before them.
For example, casting 

would create a projectile that, upon landing places a 2x2 of temporary blocks, because
changes it from 1x1 to 2x2
i meant like if i were to think of making a spell that makes of arrows shoot into a player how would i do that

You're not gonna get far without add-on mods though.
i recommend ars elemental, too many glyphs and ars trinkets

green propagate glyphs do their purple counterparts at that location
so [arc projectile] [ propagate arc] would spawn a projectile wth gravity, but when it hits something spawn another one
the propagator group is my favourite one. it adds a lot of cool and crazy combos
in 1.20 it diesn’t
