The wither glyph doesn't summon a wither, it applies the wither effect
Turrets can't summon things so that won't work unfortunately
They work like any other summon in ars
omega, I believe, adds a summon wither glyph
I wasn't talking about turrets. I didn't know there were turrets tbh

they also follow the regular summon rule of giving you summoning sickness, so you can only have 1 at once I think
same thing with base summons

so, it wouldn't matter how they get summoned, it would still give the same summoning sickness?
Sickness itself prevents the spawn from happening
I recall seeing a way around the sickness the other day, or at least a way to remove it prematurely
Cleanse, by Omega. Removes the sickness once, but it only works once per minute or so. Best you can do is 2 withers.
can you put the minnion withers in jars to freeze their despawn timer?
maybe? but then you'll need to use a bucket of milk every other cast or so
Milk won't clear it. Dispel uses milk logic
The work around you saw the other day was for vex only
Because when they hit the end of their time, they don't instantly die, they take damage until they die. So you throw a bunch of reduce time on it so they start dying almost instantly
Reduce time also reduces how long you get summoning sickness. So they start dying, you lose the sickness
But you still have a few more seconds of the vexes that you can still abuse orbit spells with

Ars Omega's Cleanse removes Summoning Sickness, but it itself has a cooldown of like 1 or 2 minutes.
And Withers don't have the Vex damage desummoning. The just go poof instantly.
Your best bet for a Wither Defense is to just boost a wither to the max and make sure it's bound to you
or... have a ton of soulsand and skulls and maybe do a place block spell?

Most everything does. It's just something with how vexes die after a certain time when they're summoned by evokers
they die way faster than Vex do
was your intention to have that deathrate the same?
in my experience all withers I've summoned just instantly keel over as soon as the sickness disapears
