Bit of an odd one. Playing on a server right now that has just the base Ars Nouveau for 1.16.5 on it. The Nether is opening up soon, but the explosion glyph is disabled in the config. Are there any other spell setups I can use to replicate that ease of use spell for hunting down ancient debris?

You could place block and set off tnt.

This would still be a lot safer than normal tnt mining.

I was relying on the explosions when I was playing in the 1.16 version but I had a friend who just took advantage of the scrying tablets and managed to find just as many as me in the brief time the tablet was working. Obviously takes a bit more mental power than just blowing up the nether but apparently, just as effective.
Could be an option.

scrying tablets are the best way to do it, manipulation essence to extend the duration

even if you use explosions to get to them, scrying will point you in the right direction

Still a fan of a simple touch mage block with aoes and pierces. It's easier to get if you're having trouble getting sponge for evaporate
