One of my favorites to use. Plus you can name the warp scroll to keep up with where each one goes.
Have you used it in multiplayer?
I know that sometimes it leaves the rune on the ground because the chunk unloads, and I'm wondering two things. Does it do this if there is another player in the same chunk, and if there is a rune left behind will it continue to warp to that location or will it just blink someone w/o a warp scroll forward?
I've used it countless times on Multiplayer, it works by using a temporary rune then teleports you to it, I haven't had any issues with chunk loading or unloading like you mentioned.
As long as you use the rune glyph, it shouldn't leave behind a rune.
I use
with my home spell in my inventory. Casts a temporary rune that i walk through and that's that.
You can also use this as a combat trick, by having the first warp scroll in your inventory go to a trap location, or just a random spot far away. You could even use it to send mobs to a jarring ritual. Very versatile.
You could use
as to use in combat without having the target get too close.
Raid hack: set up a ring of chalked runes (with full source jars nearby) around a village, then set off a Raid. Send all the raiders to a jarring ritual, then make a drygmy farm.
Genius
So quick question, is the Warp scroll a one time use item?
Because if so then I think itd be kinda a waste in any scenario other than times you really need it, and then you would have to re-make one, then re-bind it to the place again.
The warp scroll without blink glyph is one use unless you use the stabilized warp scroll.
the warp scroll is a one use item except in 3 specific scenarios:
- Using it to create a warp portal
- Having it in the offhand to directly blink other entities to the location
- Having it in the inventory (doesn't have to be in offhand or hotbar) while casting a
spell
Then, it has as many uses as you have for it
Ok that’s amazing thank you
