I always have a backlog of source gems and not much use for them aside from making source stones for warp portals or building blocks. Would it be too crazy to have a source link that can convert source gems, or even other gems like diamonds and emeralds into source?

I can see it now. A starby fills a chamber with amethyst, then a second starby moves the gems to a pedestal next to the sourcelink, feeding jars.

I'd expect a sourcelink to give 1000, at max 1500
It makes sense only if it's all passive gen with a lot of time
Just like Xacris farm fire essences to use as fuel for other mods

I actually use them for decorating, sometimes. Fill in the corners of portals, and such.
