As for getting the issues fix, how do you propose such a thing should happen so instantaneously? It's been stated in game, and it's been stated here that fixes are being worked on. So all we can do is be patient, and perhaps share a little compassion for the mods here, who VOLUNTEER their time to try to be as helpful as possible to everyone.

The answer to that would be to have a cut off on the tickets, and then the limit of the event is those who bought the tickets and participated, not just 30K. So if 50K bought and participated then 50K could get into the feast.

I do think it is more fair to assure that those who actually purchased a ticket (whether they actually showed up to the battle or not) be able to get into the feasts. I get that all the things you can get in a feast helps a FTP player, but as I said you can get diamonds and purchase a ticket without spending any money. Not that difficult to get 5000k to join the Born Leader War, or 10,000 to get into the Renowned Ruler war.

I have no idea what the financial breakdown of events like these are. The amount spent on boxes vs the free rewards they give out. These events can be both a $$$ maker and loser. If more $$ is brought in than sent out in rewards, then it is profitable. I am more leaning towards events like these, keep the players interest, but it costs way more in the free rewards given, then what they receive in return. Again, just my guess.

Again, I understand that there are people that spend a lot of $$$ on this game and they are rewarded (all the lvl 40s)! Those were the ones on top (and rightfully so!) We also need to think about those players who are on the game everyday, taking up a spot or 5 during Wasteland, and even sometimes have a few too many rss that we gladly take from them. We should think of those players as well. Because without them, this game would not be as fun.

After all, we are talking we are all spending money on virtual items to help us in a virtual game, where nothing is physically real. It only costs the developers time to code the items one time then they can recreate that code billions of times over to make more. They already make more than enough money outside of this event, that they could lose on it and still be way ahead.

In this game it makes sense to me that participation is required to get the rewards. - If you participate in Wasteland King and get into a turret and defend your state, or go to another state and attack a turret, or even attack the turrets in your own state if you're in a different alliance you gain the rewards for participating. If you just do nothing you don't.
If you participate in Res War/Alliance Clash (or Nukaland 🤮 ) you can get rewards, if you don't you can't. In just about every event, you have to participate to get rewards, so why not make participation in the Wasteland Conquest events a requirement for the feast?

The players that "PAID" and "PARTICIPATED" in Iconic, or any other Wasteland King event, should have a secure spot in the Feasts.... This would only be fair....
The entry limit should be only for non participants (where luck defines everything)... Please make this a must in future events...

If you want to be fair to everyone just shut the entire game down so no one can play. That would be perfectly fair to everyone also, and save some players a ton of money until they find the next new thing to spend it on.
Participation to get rewards is not unfair if everyone has the same. You do not have to spend any money to get diamonds. Here are a few ways you can get them without spending a penny...

1. Sign In Daily
2. Reward choice for participating in Alliance Show Down, given on several levels. Some times it's 30K diamonds.
3. Finish Free column of Trials of survival... 2000K box there.
4. Answer questions in Radio Trivia
5. Collect Diamond Mines during Valiant Conquest (can gather up to 8K during the event.)
6. Complete Phase 1, 3 and 5 of Break Loose Events.
7. Rank in Special Operations by being good at the puzzles. (Random diamond boxes (x18 to 28,888 diamonds)
8. Rank anywhere in Ace Commander. (The Higher the Rank the more diamonds)
9. Utilize the Daily Diamond Savings in the Bank to gain up to an additional 105 Diamonds per day. 7% Daily 210% over 30 Days. (Better than the 30 Day deposit by far)
   Just to name a few.

The only ones that should be guaranteed spots are the winners of the other forts and the alliance of the winner hosting the feast. Those that bought tickets/participated should be queued first.

This will be an unpopular opinion, I'm sure, but I'm gonna share it anyways. I disagree that purchasing a ticket for the battle should grant you a seat at the feast. That ticket purchase granted you access to the Exploit Shop for the points that you earned during said battle. If you purchased a ticket and did not do battle, well that was a waste on your part then, huh? If you did participate in the battle, did you help the winning alliance win? Of course not, because you were battling on behalf of your own alliance. So why should a seat be reserved for you? The only true people that deserve a seat at the celebration are the people that fought alongside the winner, aka the winners' alliance members. Hence, the reserved seating for them. As for "everyone else is just collecting free gifts"... those gifts are being purchased by the participants as a means of celebration for the winner's conquest. True, there are many in attendance that may not have battled at all, and/or may not be purchasing the gift packages that are being sent out... but so what? i bought a ticket to the 1st event to see what it was about. That entitles me to nothing. I watch and pay attention and try to send out messages to my allience to see when feast starts and make an effort to be there. that still entitles me to nothing. But when I am in I am sure happy to be there. How many times do people have to hear the word entitled before it sinks in? no one should be "entitled" to anything except the winners and they still have to put in a boatload of money to even throw the feast. So yeah, and now he has 5000 emails to respond to and guessing a lot are mad they didn't get in. Its a game people. You are only entitled to what you purchase and what you win.

So the way I see the feast problem. Lucky enough to make it in a few times you can theoretically receive 3k glory points 1500 or more gear refiners and 4000 hero coins. This is a low end estimate. Those who don't make it are at a huge upgrade disadvantage straight off the bat. This is no players fault. This is 100% a game design issue. Maybe, just maybe a feast reward box can be available for 24 hours to buy which contains the gifts portion of the feast. Just a thought.

Or maybe put a limit on how many feasts one can enter. Say, three for Born leader feast, four for renowned, and five for iconic, but unlimited for WC participants.

Realistic suggestion: variable seating. Bought a seat to WC? guaranteed seat. Rest, the click lotto. I do think those that paid should get a seat. Other suggestion - since the 30000 cap is likely a limitation to what the engine can handle, break up the feasts into sub groups like Nuka uses, and set up the system to share the gifts amongst the groups. Everyone wins; devs make coin, players get coins.

My suggestion was having two lines. The open-to-all line and then another line that you need a Feast Ticket for. You can then hand out Feast Tickets in a variety of ways. As a daily pull lottery for all players. As a reward for losing a ton of troops in Conquest, etc.

Game reset or 0:00 UTC should be midnight (which is last time I checked 12:00am) for us that would be 8pm EST when the game resets for us. So 9 hours and 30 minutes later, or 930am UTC should be 5:30 am EST, if my time is correct.

I witnessed the cool down countdown starts before the actual feast time. There is a cool down between two feasts. But the countdown seems to get activated once a host officially schedules a feast. (Meaning that it can be longer if the host schedules it earlier.)

Ok so part of this is on me as I should have paid attention to what account I was on but none the less I got screwed and it’s complete bs in my opinion. On my farm account, level 25, I went to enter the final round, clicked the button and it suggested the purchase ticket option, so I bought the ticket. No issue buying it at all. 20,000 diamonds gone! Went back to the event where it says I need a larger hq in order to enter. Now that’s some complete and total BULLSHT!!! Allows me to purchase the ticket and take my diamonds without issue but stops me from joining the event. Why would it even let me buy the ticket? Seems a way to screw people out of diamonds to me. Either way, I’m out 20,000 diamonds.

And yes - it would be more lucrative to only have paying players make it in, but how would they even know who is going to buy or not. Like I said I bought a box almost every feast I made it in to. I also fought in the first and last phase of the event. Have a photo of me sitting in a turret for the two seconds I had it. I will never complain that not enough people are buying things so I can get things for free.

Born leader’s largest feast is 10k and it’s a smaller number of states. Renown leader is also 30k for a larger number of states but not all. And the point is because with exclusivity comes increased demand and increased engagement and people logging in.

And I don’t know why but I’m venturing a guess that it’s because there was an absurd amount of lag during one of the renown leader feasts. Because it would increase the demand of people trying to do the same exact one thing. That will cause a communication jam.

From what I have read in these forums, this game is one of a series of very similar games - differing superficially in theme, for example Tolkienesque elves vs. Francoesque (as in Jess Franco) zombies. One key difference is that for the past year and a half or so, a lot of us have been hermits, either under quarantine or self-imposed exile. (Yeah, COVID.) So the game has a lot more captive players -- but apparently the developers have not increased the capacity to accommodate the influx of players.

Of course, as things open up a bit and return to a new normal, one can expect a corresponding decline in the game's popularity.

Poorly implemented events, like the feast, can only hasten the decline. "Poorly implemented" not because it is ridiculously boring, but because it is exactly the sort of event which simple keyboard-bashing bots can take advantage of.

Disclaimer: This is conjecture on my part, since I haven't played other games in the series.

Is something wrong with the algorithm for the Grand Feast. It will just not let you in. I start selecting to join the feast before my countdown gets to 0. Today I noticed that the when I selected to join at :02 on the countdown I got the feast hasn’t started message. The screen then refreshed and the feast had already started. In less than 2 seconds 5+ seconds had elapsed. I suspect there is a lag on the timer so people with less lag are allowed to join while others are now

I’ve missed one feast that I tried to get into and one because I didn’t know it was happening. I’m pretty sure it’s because of my internet connection and because I live in a place that’s close to a lot of data centers/edge locations. May not be fair but it probably creates a head start. If you’re in the middle of nowhere/far from cloud edge locations it’s probably really really hard.

I think it would be reasonable to limit the number of feast people can join - if there is lag on the servers it is entirely possible the same set of people will always have an advantage in joining while everyone else is screwed. The feast makes it impossible to rank in many events if you constantly miss events and have to compete against those that always get in.

Now I see opinions that Alliance Conquest fighters should only get in but in my state to fight have to be at least a 30 with a lot of T10 or higher troops. This means you spend money and are already strong. The feast rewards are focus on lower lvl HQs for what few feast I got in. So let all the applied in a short time limit to get in. Or stop the feast. I don’t know that feasts are fun per se. honestly, they could probably make them shorter. Most of the gifts come out in the first 15-30 mins.

I just want them to fix it creat a sign up period moderate how many times u can join and allow others a oppertunitu to enjoy what others are enjoying and with this method i am sure u can make more money the more people who get first hand experiances

I’ve been to all but one feast that I knew about in advance and I still don’t love them. They’re basically inflationary. There’s no reason for anybody to buy any Noah tokens/gear refiners/marks of glory unless you’re one of those folks who lives in a place where your internet won’t let you get in. I do spend quite a bit on the game but I won’t spend on that.
