Depends. Alliance tech United allies increases total number of players that can join to reinforce. The captains rally size limits the number of troops. Once either rally size is full or number of players that join hits the limit then no others can join.

I don't think anybody has put out anything like that yet. In the beginning you can size up your opponents and see if you can actually compete against them. Conquest is virtually a giant version of WK.

You have to look at it as to whether or not you're going for points or to actually win the matchup.

The finals are really only for the biggest states. However smaller states do have a chance at the first round

It's probably mostly random chance. You tend to get a few states from every age range

Nerp you buy your ticket. Go in your designated time rally or solo hit whether it's with your state or alliance. Heal as you go if you don't wanna lose troops. That is all there is to it

Rallies are the better choice so you can try to get some kills and not just deaths

The main most important thing tho is to not park anywhere even touching the mud at all

Rest is all the same as WK really just shorter and more states

Try and organise with your alliance how many will be joining and try and group together on the map. NOT ON THE MUD. Have someone start a rally on a tower, join rally, heal troops, repeat until you have the points you want.

It's just a big old wasteland king on steriods instead of you plus 2 other states its a bunch more fighting over turrets and hub... who ever holds center longest wins... stay out of mud you will die... I go in shielded to protect myself... rallies are more efficient for points... I find healing as I go easier...

One screen says born leader starts in 1.5 hours and then another screen says a date.

So....when do I participate?

The first countdown is showing when the battles at all starts, the date on second screen when the battle of your foothold starts. For you only the date of your foothold is important

Most important:
Don't park in mud, the troops will die permanently when you park in mud and get attacked!

Depending whats the target of your state/alliance is (conquering a turret, conquering the hub or just get points) you need to organize your team. For just points maybe set a time with your team you will be online and set some rallies (best to let the strongest players run some rallies).

With rallies the whole team gets better points then solo runs, but also solo runs will give your points

It usually is chaos. Usually the stronger players set the rallies. And the rest reinforce if you take it. If you're just going for points anyone can, but expect more points for deaths than kills.

I'm going in for first half of iconic, toss on a 24hr shield after. If I go in for 2nd half it's a waste of a shield but I have saved up some. Where my mini is we have players online at start of VC and put on a 24hr shield but if they go for 2nd part of iconic they basically lose 21 hours of a 24hr shield

It my opinion it would be better for iconic to start where a 2hr shield helps out instead of needing to use a longer shield till iconic starts

Thats fair if you just like doing it. I don’t think the diamond cost is particularly good value for the rewards since you can buy out all the good stuff from the shop just from born leader alone. And maybe finish it off with renowned

If you have a crazy amount of heal speeds banked and don’t have to dip into omni speedups to heal then I suppose it’s probably alright. If you’re using regular speeds to heal then you’re probably getting negative returns

Some of them put on a 3 day shield on Friday because they never know when or if they are going to be able to get on Saturday because of work or personal reasons. Know one in alliance with main does that because not sure if he'll be able to get online and is shielded from about 10am EST Friday till Monday. Last WC was able to do all 3 phases because was in hospital and had time, WC before that only did iconic phase.

It’s a season and you get matched against differing states within a grouping for that season and you have to try to control as much of an area as you can. It happened every Friday and Saturday. And the last hour was like the battle for the center and whoever controlled it was the winner. Idk if it will be exactly that way but parts of it seem to be.

New buildings in Wasteland Conquest: Altars. It is some type of bracket system by the looks of it.
If you go into the event building, you can see smaller Divisions for the Footholds (outer zone), and those become bigger Divisions in the Fort (middle zone) and a largest one for the Fortress (inner zone). So it is a progressive system that is state based in some way.

1 dead t11 gets you 3 points

So around 500k troops dead will get you a weapon

And anything under t8 won't get you points

I have a possibly paranoid question. I clicked to “view” on the bottom and there’s a countdown clock to like 4am on the top left. I have to actively buy a ticket to be put into this event? I didn’t just click myself into waking up dead did I? Lol

If I am reading the details right it’s a series of battles like nuka/res/clash. I am not certain if it’s against 20 alliances or 1 or 3?

My next question would be can the state do it as one? Like wasteland when all alliances come together to defend their state?

And if they can would they need to stay in that alliance until after all battles have finished?

Sign ups are tonight/day. Depending on time you pick slot best for state. You have to enter when you want to do it.
