Alliance Showdown, to me, is the best community-building event they have. Everyone in an alliance works towards a common goal. I love it for that.
But taking out the 126 transport request hurts that community aspect (really anything below the 126 can go)
Limiting the hq25? Again why,

Not letting us pick our quest on the fixed slot is another problem. Again, why? The event is about working towards a common goal, why deliberately add frustration to the mix? What purpose does that serve? If there is a good reason for that, please share. Id love to hear it, and Im not being sarcastic there, I really would like to hear it. It's not like we can spend diamonds to get the choice we want, no, its just a random 30 min cycle that we have to check to get the particular goal we want to attain. It is nothing, but annoying. Is it an annoyance for the sake of annoyance on that one? Because I see no other reason there.

how would personal quests be 'broken'? They would be more usable, which furthers the community-driven goal of the event. There is nothing broken there. Right now personal quests are just frustrating, constantly spinning to get the one of the choices you want. Thats just raw built-in frustration there, intentional frustration, and again, why?

Because the more you log in or longer you stay online, the more likely you are to spend money. And if you're not getting the quest you want, you're more likely to use your hoard to complete one you didn't and eventually have to pay to replenish it.
If you don't fall under the "spend money" category they don't care that you're frustrated with it.

Because you wouldn't be working towards the actually point of showdown. I hate the idea of selecting a quest and knowing oh I can chose this keeps you from exiting your comfort zone. I personally find it fun going through and having the quests random. The normal board is the same. You don't have to understand but it sounds like a way to break crap imo. You don't have to agree

They could shorten the turn around time when recycling quests, that would help considerably. Im in 2 alliances that cycle super frequently, or leave mystery and low point quests up and delete repeats. It’s hard to get a quest on those ones because I have other things do that doesn’t involve being in game and staring blankly at the screen while waiting.

I like having some quests that you can sorta count on, like im going to line up a 240 time quest at least twice during the week, but to do that I need to cycle through a lot of 'useless' quests first and it's just frustrating to answer the alarm every 30 mins just to see if I get lucky on the person quest. It becomes 'not fun' at that point.

I try not to stress about showdown anymore due to how burnt out out have gotten from it before. If there's a quest I know I want for a certain day I don't do 240s till that day and will stop doing my personal quests. There's enough easy stress free quests now. That I don't stress as much about the 240s

Actually the HQ 25 requirement is for Modifier quests, and it's dumb. My 22 farm could easily do modifier quests, but I'm locked out of doing them, and they show up in my personal quests frequently, which is super frustrating. Interestingly enough, there is no HQ requirement for Cube quests that I can recall.

Did anyone else have trouble collecting rewards where you had more than one hq in alliance. I have 4 hq. Two in main and two in farm. I put up more than 1500 points on all 4 accounts but could only collect rewards on one in each alliance. The other hq didnt even have the box show up to open. There was simply no reward page. Did this happen to anyone else? Could it be because it is the same IP address?

We have had the board cleared multiple times today and after initially blaming it on an enthusiastic R4, we noticed that the deletions were too fast to be one person. And the r4s that were online, said they hadn't deleted the whole board.

Look at the timestamps here. I watched the quests appear and then disappear.

Like mentioned, it is an R4 doing it. Work with your team for clear expectations on quests to leave and make sure they understand the whole alliance shares the same board except for the first slot.
Takes 3 second to clear all quests. Your board reflects that.

Have everyone active heal troops for help allies, makes the alliance build team cohesion

For gathering, coordinate and if they agree reset any that isn't the same as the Alliance Mill.

My 40 with max gathering speed can do a level 6 gas in about 45 minutes.
If we use 5 marches, and each is 14k gas, that's 70k per 45 minutes.
To get 360k (I'm taking your word for it) that's just over 5 hours...

To me, I couldn't possibly be on top of gathering for every tile reset for 5 hours

That's what the alliance mill is for. I always tell people to only do the gathering quests for the alliance mill. Anything else is too much time and effort for not enough points.

My mini with all level 1 nova gathering boosts already gathered 285k. I don't remember when I put it in there but you should be in the mill regardless.

Even if you haven't gathered the full amount or close to it, you can take the quest and let it sit overnight while you sleep.

We have lots of guidelines on not doing that. Misa also has a fantastic guide round here too somewhere. If your feeling over whelmed and don't wanna drain too much the 150 180 and 210 help quest and mystery shop are great ones.

I don't see why gathering quests seem difficult... assuming you gather anyway, you pre load 5 marches preferably one in the mill.. then accept quest as they're returning then send em out again. 176 quests just need 5 send outs. Less than half a day with mill

Yep only take gas or steel whatever mill you got. And its 5 sends. Assuming you use 50% collect and have some sort of collections boost from heroes and economy tree its 1hr 15 min to get level 6. Since 7s arent always possible. 54k steel or 14k gas at level 6. X5 that's 27000 steel per 1 hr 15 min. (Alliance steel is faster but for simple calculations I just say x5 at slower rate) or 70000 gas. That's 5 full 5 sends assuming travel march time that's a hair under 9 hrs.

Pretty easy imo especially if you on flipping quests every 30 min. If you cant re up marches then mystery shop help and lairs op.

2 a day with inefficiencies that's guaranteed 14 in 7 days. Granted no one wants to do this for 7 days 18 hrs a day. So you take mystery shop lairs and helps but I'm just pointing out it's possible to 2200+ guaranteed without spending a single item.

Which is super encouraging for f2p.

Everyone plays differently so just need to plan accordingly. I gather a lot so the gather quests are simple for me (I'm guessing it takes around 5 hours to finish the 172 pt quest during Ace Gather Day when states and alliance boosts are active). I'd much rather do the big mystery shop and help quests but those are snatched up quick. Then I also do a few personal 240 ones (Heroes/Speedups) when they line up with the appropriate Ace or Might day.

Some times they offer more of the same rss in item form its nutty. So they'll say pay 4600 in gas for 5500 in gas items. Like lol duh that's an easy trade and it becomes and item instead of steal able assuming you go over warehouse cap. It's a win win

Showdown is even easier for low-level/f2p players. You just have to make changes in the way you think about showdown to take advantage of it. On the other hand, I think it's actually harder for p2w players to get high points through personal quests with the addition of all the bio, nano and modification quests added.

I don’t spend on showdown an finish every time.
Mystery shop is super easy and less time consuming now. Lairs are there. As is arena. Grab a gear, chip, mod or cube one tomorrow. Mini took a couple of build speed ups for build day.
There’s plenty for f2p to grab: you just gotta plan and hoard for the day/week you want to do it.
For example: I’ve been hoarding arena and speed up boxes for when I got to 35, and now I’m going to hoard rss boxes.

Ugh showdown. The quests need a whole lot of work. They are hard and long and boring. People feel they must do them because its a team event. A few things would help though. The time for resetting is much too long. And I don't see that it would be difficult to create better quests. Easier ones. Shorter ones.
I just finished it in my alliance with 4 accounts. It was awful.

For the most part I find it easier now. And I do like the new higher points for less work ones, lol. Was it 210 points for 15 mystery shop vs 175 for 32? That one's a no brainer.
If you hoard the modifier boxes it's easy to make points for that one if you go for locks since they're worth so much more than the rest: just do the math to make sure you have enuf BEFORE you click accept.
Arena quests are super quick and easy when they pop up.
I do agree the recycle time is far too long though: 15-20 minutes still means we have to wait, but there would be a bigger/better turn around time.

Most the newer quests arent bad at all. I made this with the help of others. I mostly try my best to line it up with the days of the week. Or stick to helps, mystery shops or lair quests.

We got new quest ideas a couple of months ago. That's when the nano and modification quests started. It's also when we got new points quests that are easier and more doable. The only ones I've seen that actually require spending are the diamond quests and 240 personal quest to buy packs from the mall. Everything else can be done by the f2p and low spend as long as they have enough hoarded, or do a lot of gathering.

Craft Nanos, nano material, bioenhancer, might quests went to speedup, 150s, 180s, and 210s were introduced of helps and mystery shop, 240s are available outside just personals and the question marks, stamina quests were reduced in Stam needed, mod material and a lot of this is brand new. We tried for years getting some updated quests. I'm glad all these were introduced way better scores now

I would suggest that the dev's from this game look at myths of moonlight for their version of showdown.

720 point quests with a longer time is really helpful

Transport Quest need to be above 120 pts. Less nano crafts, bio enhancing, and the quest should stop being list once there is not enough time to do them, example , get rss, 35 quizzes only when 3 hours left. Mystery shop 15 when 4 hours left . Ridiculous to have these choices there when no time.

Then you're being too picky.
Why do those only during ace? Improve might week is just as important, if not moreso, because of lady m. I need the march size in order to be competitive in things like flag capture and apex match.
Shooters can get Phoenix. Fighters can get zephyr. Ace doesn't have a fighter hero at all, and the shooter hero is only good for match-3 and 2nd string.

Riders have obsidian and wali.
Shooters have Lora and Jessie as well in off ace week.

I agree with you, the OP is being too picky, I simply felt like a couple of the options you listed aren't really F2P friendly. OP needs to pick their battles as F2P, they can't do Ace every other week and Showdown every 3 weeks effectively or efficiently.

I spend on my main, but my farm is mostly F2P. I often only do Ace or Improve Might during Showdown and skip everything in between on my farm.

When you accepted a gathering quest only gathered stuff counts, not what you get transported...and the moment you leave your alliance the quest will get declined

Best way to do gathering quest is to make sure it's the same as the Mill. If you can leave your troops at the Mill, and then pickup a gathering quest 10-12 hours later, it's quick points.

I were in showdown and spoke to someone about their alliance but realized i needed another flight. Went to look for the message and it had vanished. I remember they were in the top 3 this most recent showdown. Im looking for a star level, top 3 regularly in showdown alliance. English preferred. Events reset 1 or 2 plus or minus. Got my flights ready. HQ 26 because of flights . Might almost 133m, but event conscious. Valiant rank and Showdown rank are top tier. complete all levels though non combative focaled, need a teacher but learned my colors. kinna sorta.
