Question when playing valiant the game doesn’t let me shield until the event is over. It’s my understanding that you can shield after 15 minutes. I really would like to figure this out before the next valiant.

If you are scouting/attacking, you will be in a War Frenzy. Depending on HQ level, that is how long your WF will be. You can shield after your frenzy is over

Valiant matchmaking has some factors we can just imagine how it works... but for sure its also about the points states reaches while event is running... so when you Match with dead states, then motivate your own state to go for more points.

tbh, I would prefer chit chat be more confined to a channel or 2 for that purpose, I try to use this sever to learn, not social. I don't begrudge the social, but being alerted every few seconds for a single word, meme, or silliness is annoying, especially if I am busy

So a lot of the discords that I'm part of I have set up not to alert me unless somebody's responding directly to me or has tagged me. You can do that individually with each channel or you can do that with the entire servers. And then I come in and see where I have new messages posted.

It really doesn't take much to do that and then you don't get annoyed by alerts

There's been more than one instance in my old state where we didn't get taken over because I knew somebody who was invading from another state.

Yup. I’m also the type that doesn’t like chats being cluttered by small talk, off topic or gifs ….or when important information is being flushed out by it.

But the reality is, it’s a server of more than 100k people and not all interact the same way. So it’s sometimes better to adapt by changing your settings and/or learning how to search for things.

I think you can only collect in 1 alliance, but you need to get points there to be able to claim

Finally took some good hits.
First one I let hit me 5 times even though my wall heroes were out (tertiary fighter team is wall, seen in second screenshot).

Second one is one of the people I was scared of. 40, but a fighter main. Their riders still hurt like heck.

Guess I'm done for the night. Got my 1b points, about 60m kills and all but about 1.5m fighters are in the infirmary At least I get to go to bed at a reasonable time.
