That would fall under your state rules. VC is mainly to fight other states. Not your own

Most states would compensate with rss

Most of the times happens when the game is crushed as it is after every update and even the player is from your state it shows you with red letters and this is something which developers have never fixed and players compensate rss for the kills by mistake of the devs

sorry this isn't really specific to valiant but can someone pretty please explain to me on a battlelog what is the difference between casualties and killed?

If you look here casualties are all of the wounded involved. Killed are the wounded that in a normal battle won't come back they're just dead. Wounded go to your infirmary.

During valiant it's a little bit different because as long as you're attacking or being attacked by one of the other states all wounded and killed go to state infirmary and you get them back at the end of the event

You only get points from killing out of staters. And you only get gathering points in other states. Any kills of players from your own state are treated normally even if the hit is in a different state

If you get attacked by anyone from your own state during valiant normal injury rules will apply. So they will go to your internal infirmary. And some will be killed

So it's definitely recommended to make sure you don't attack anybody from your own state

If you are scared about your opponents and dont trust to hunt but you want to max out points in valiant activate shield and go gathering tiles in one of the opponents states till you have maxed out your points 🌞🌼

Your best bet would be first and foremost to secure the hub. Have whoever in your alliance has the largest rally size enter the hub first with a march of fighters, then enter the hub yourself and have as many players with t10s and t9s as possible fill the hub completely with fighters. Once it’s full, super-reinforce the hub so that your fighter stats will apply to all the troops in the hub

The first thing I would prioritise when it comes to spending to build up strength is chips, having 6 fighters chips to boost gives you the quickest increases in stats compared to cost in my experience

If you’re the R5 of the winning alliance, once the hub is secured a little governors hat icon will appear in this part of the screen which will allow you to select the governor from members of your alliance - including selecting yourself - or it will automatically appoint the r5 after 2 hours have elapsed

Towers fire at hub… hold them or have someone else clear them. If a player is in one building, they’re out of action.

If tower fires at hub, those losses do not count towards fast comeback.

if you’re gonna try this strategy, i would do a block of 4 hours occupying, leave for 4 hours, come back for 4 hours, leave for 4 hours, and then hold it for the full last 8.

But if you’re already suspecting a plot for somebody else to take the hub, you’d be safest just holding for the first 8hours and letting people get their points in turrets

Take that into account for what you want the hub filled with

As for someone who can’t make a hit worthwhile….yeah 🤣 I don’t really get much out of the event unfortunately.

I for one am actually grateful that they did it. Whilst I can get on my main, my farm is bound to Facebook and I can't get on that account at the moment. I can't log onto my farm and put up a shield myself for valiant, and without this shield, all those rss collected over the past 2 weeks would be gone in an instant tomorrow

As gerber, and others, have said, you can pop the shield by scouting a tile, fort, or outpost. Your then responsible for applying your own shield after.
You can then ask someone from one of the other states to hit you, or trade hits.

☆ Shield time was extended, and is now scheduled to end in three days on 2023-03-06 18:15 UTC. Shield time may be extended further, per official bulletin

Im glad the shields are down for valiant. But the devs definitely shit the bed on this whole situation. And even tho Im glad about it I don't really understand the people here defending them or saying its the players fault for expecting a system shield to actually last as long as the timer said

A system shield is what they put up after maintenance. I’ve never had one go down prematurely.

Facts: Everyone was provided a 3+ day shield. We were notified about the Fb issue. Never was communicated about a change in the shield status. We went from a 3 day shield to no shield and now an 8 hour shield. Peeps in UTC plus and others can't adjust for unknown changes. Poor communication is not an excuse.
