Anyone ever have a glitch where the governor isn’t appointed? But randomly selected by the game? In 277, I went to appoint the governor. Before I selected anything, screen closed, someone in my alliance became governor. Didn’t appoint them. Did not confirm them.

Noob question… if someone doesn’t hold the hub 8 consecutive hours is it the ones who hold it longest in the 24 hour period or is it the one who holds it the longest in each occupying time… say I hold it for 7 hours twice but some one takes it and holds it for 7 hours 30 minutes once

Yes and no. The amount of hubs you‘ve taken in the past is part of the matchup formula. So the more hubs you take the more hubs your opponents will have taken in the past. By not taking any foreign hubs you don’t increase that number, but it also doesn’t decrease.

We NAP every Zenith. Whether the other state abides by it is a different question altogether! Most do, though. We generally get states within the same overall might range.
I wouldn’t say they are all easy though. Most are, but there have been some where even their T8s have done quite a bit of damage.
I used to complain about how boring NAP Zeniths are. A snooze fest. I prefer those to losing the hub for even a short time though.

I am trying to figure something out and am hoping someone might be able to help. I understand that if my state holds an enemy hub, our hub will be shielded. What I am not certain of is timing. Does this happen while the enemy hub is being contested (we are holding it, but it still is in contention) or does this happen only after we have secured the enemy hub for 8 hours?

Occupy points and timers still accumulate for those in your own hub while fighting in other states. The turrets will still fire if taken by a foreign alliance even if there is a protective shield on your state hub while battling. The only thing that changes when your in other states is if you get knocked out of that hub, you lose your home hub shield and the other state gets a 30 minute temporary shield

Short answer: 37games reps don’t communicate with mods but with high paying players instead. Making this whole discord suggestion etc. a farce, which I didn’t want to be a part of anymore. Most of the others are as fed up as I am, so they probably don’t do as much either🤷‍♂️

It just proves, beyond doubt, that they don’t care about the small and medium sized players beyond doing the minimum for them. Alliance party, speaker, etc., giving us token rewards for playing the game.
The rewards are appreciated, but doing things like fixing lag, a better chat interface, working with Apple to optimize their platform, would make the experience better for everyone, not just the big payers. As long as the bigs aren’t complaining, they’re not going to do a dayum thing about any of it.

During wasteland, if an in-stater is being rally attacked in the wasteland mud by enemy staters, and the in-stater is reinforced by alliance members, shouldn’t the reinforcing alliances members’ added heroes be a part of the battle report? I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but during today’s SvS, one of our members was attacked, and while all the attacking members heroes were in the battle report, none of our defending reinforcing alliance members’s heroes were not present in the battle report. Could this be a bug or is this by design?

I mean if someone took a super rally, the troops from reinforcement would be added to his base automatically, it doesn't count heroes from reinforcement, it uses the main heroes at his wall for taking that super rally

If a state is conquered by a rival state during Wasteland King, I know it gets no governor, and only the (automatic) 300% training boost. The highest-might player at the time the rival state wins gets to set the entry limit for immigration; but no other boosts or state titles/bulletins.

Taxes have always been taken out for transports (starts at 40%, drops as you upgrade your Trading Post) and raids on other players (always 30%, as far as I know). Is there also a tax on all gathering in the conquered state? Someone mentioned that to me, but I cannot find reference to it in the rules.

Can someone confirm what taxes go to the conquerors? Is there anything else the losing state should know to expect in the next two weeks?

It’s tiresome as it’s too often and there are a lot of people who can’t be on when it starts because of the time, so, I think folks are simply going on, doing what they need to do, them logging off rather than dealing with it.
Plus, some states haven’t had new opponents in weeks. If they’re facing much stronger opponents then they probably just write the weekend off in game and find something more fun to do than watch your state being taken over by another.
I managed to rank globally on casualties for some reason. All I did was throw some trucks at towers to kill them off! Lol, and it gave those in the towers points as well.

So my question for everyone is an open book question as there has been a pointless debate going on for 10hrs now (my headache is being doused by wine) about occupancy of those in hub and turrets defending state. Yes people do it for points. But does any other state have a set team that does full occupancy until hub is secured? or do you swap over halfway through? Shell alliances...... does anyone have a set system on how they utilise their shell alliances for svs? whether there are 2 one for defense one for attack? or just the one and you maximise it to full capacity and split it into the 2 teams?

We have a sign up form in 187 and 144, so those who want to help can fill it out, then the defenders are chosen from that.
In 187 we have so many that a lot of us defend every other wasteland, unless things go south, then it’s all hands on deck so they hub and turrets can be replenished as needed.
We do have staples who are there every time because we have a limited number of T10s and really large rally sizes.
Shells, for 187, are simply that, shells, waiting for a new alliance to come and claim them. Not that we have many atm.
Mostly we switch out at the halfway point, since that’s when occupancy points have maxed out for those who were there at the beginning.
Some of us have other roles for that day. We fill holes, park on the grey, or anywhere around the grey where a sanctuary can fit, we watch for invaders to start gathering in the wasteland then tile hit them! (Great way to max out kill points, lol), we post coordinates of out of staters in state chat so we know where to watch, too.

We were unable to scout or attack the S91 hub. The turrets were able to be taken over, but never fired, and we are unsure any damage was done.

Thing you can do is to change the state every wasteland. If some state have Nap and they don't attack they get matched again so no attack are done. It's lower the number of fight overall.

Too many people treat soldiers as little pieces of art to hang on the wall and have everyone look at them and say oh my this cost so much money you are so cool. Meh. Fight. Soldiers are meant to die. No im not saying 0 yourself every war but ffs WL is very manageable especially since you can control what you can and can not lose as there is no attacking on the green only what you put into play on the battlefield.

I come originally from state 91 so I perfectly know how it looks like, and we have been paired with many states under s149 and kept our hub so yes I ask why being discriminate in rewards … all states should be paired as usually and then the « league » determined after next wasteland. We kept our hub last one… and we were paired with S8 so why are we in a league with less rewards than a state under S150 who did the same as us ?

The new system of tickets is made accordingly to the devs to protect younger states but this will weaken them as they will have less rewards from start and honestly go look the younger states, I saw a lot of players over 1 billion there too lol

Eg: a different alliance attacks the hub at 7:30 into original occupation. They leave immediately and original alliance takes it back, resetting the clock to zero. It’s all still the same alliance, except for the blip that was a different alliance.
I don’t consider this initial way of doing things discrimination. I consider it the most fair since older states will ONLY be paired with older states, middle with middle, and new with new. A state with a maximum hq of 30 won’t be facing a state with players in the high hundred millions and billions, unless they immigrated there, in which case, you need a recruiter to find the bigs too!

This week will be the most unbalanced WK yet because of the state creation order. Some older states have 250m as thier top player and have no business fighting other older states. Doing it that way was a bad idea.

All I know is this basically does the opposite of what's being intended. S307 is a very strong new state but s305 could easily compete with s32 and maybe even win. Now a strong state has a great chance to be matched against an elite state which just doesn't seem fair. But also sets up a potential match between s49 and s103. S103 strongest player is close to my might. S49 median player is probably a little higher than mine. But s307 and s305 will get lesser rewards for a much more difficult fight than s49 vs s103. So what's keeping those extremely big players wanting to stay in the 300's and face ridiculous opposition when they can go to a state above 150 and have the opportunity to face easy odds. No offense to s103. Y'all are great people but s305 would steamroll 99% of states. And then you have I think s188 or whatever who has that one chick bikini beach who is op getting the opportunity to face my state where I'm the number 2 player and wouldn't be able to touch her. Then next ww since we lost we'd face off against the loser bracket. But let's say the loser bracket is like s338. We'd steamroll them. And in no way does this balance anything. It'd make sense to match based on state might than something as arbitrary as wins vs losses and state number. This is not going to end well for anyone and I foresee alot of complaints.

Not really. The side effect is this will realistically take months to become anything resembling balanced. And truth is it will more than likely take any current form of balance there is and dump it on it's head. I don't see how no one realizes this. It literally happened in call of duty. Like there are numerous occasions where this method has failed. And this one probably has a rockier start than any other game because it's starting just from an age point not actual relavant information like state overall might. If you're arguing that this transition is going to be smooth and wonderful and oh so seem less you're wearing blinders.

I’ve already figured out that the game is broken, and the new WK matching system will pit the same state vs same state, just as is happening now.
As for basing it on state might, uhhhh….do you have time the time to go through each leaderboard of every single state, each LANGUAGE? I certainly don’t, but, it sounds fine in theory. Realistically though..state 367 might have a half billion might player (example since I don’t know). State 187 has ONE half billion might player. BUT, look at the might of the rest of the state as well. 367, being newer is going to have lower overall might since it’s so much newer. 187 has several creeping up on half a billion, and many, many more in the 100 and 200 million range. 367 wouldn’t stand a chance against 187 since those 100 and 200 could, conceivably, take the state for all its worth, and leave nothing but burnt shells behind.

I definitely understand what you're saying. And I'm not saying it's going to be a perfect system what I'm proposing. I'm just saying it'll be slightly more fair and discourage players from leaving their states as frequently for competitive edge. Also arena could be tweaked and many other things. I just don't understand the need to defend something that was very haphazardly put together when better solutions are out there. Hell I have zero game development experience but even I can clearly see the issues with an age system to start and then a very basic win vs loss system after.

Having been an aide before, as well as being a governor, I think it’s kind of selling people short by saying “it’s a perk to be trusted, but you get nothing for it.”
It’s like telling artists they can get exposure instead of getting paid.

A good aide can do a lot of good with the governor that’s beyond giving titles and boxes (besides, the whole time I was an aide, couldn’t even click the award button). People sitting in other titles get all sorts of benefits while they might not do anything

Meanwhile the aide wallows in nothing and hard work. I don’t think that’s fair on anyone.

It's not much problem of titles. On my state we always give people the one when they need a particular buff from it.
If someone is going to upgrade hq we just give him Architect for 1 day, if planning to do researches a few days then grant them Head of research. And so on. Aide can request some for himself as well if he needs those buffs.
The problem is just every state has their own views and expectations about them. While we use them only for buffs and by request.
