my advice is always saving up for the apex claw. it’s a long way, but definitely more worthwhile than other apex.

That’s kind of a loaded question as you’ll get a ton of different responses.

My personal opinion is having a mixed troop wall so that you aren’t vulnerable to any particular troop type. So if you are shooter for example I wouldn’t only put shooters on my wall as a fighter will eat through it. If you have a mixed wall you are able to defend better.

Also not a popular opinion, but mine nonetheless is I try not to have any cars on my wall. It’s a personal preference where I want it to hurt if anyone tries to attack. It does wound some better troops depending on the strength of the attacker, but it also deters a lot of attacks or repeated attacks. Others prefer loading up the wall with lower level cars as it’s a good meat-shield and helps prevent wounded to your better troops.

Regarding heroes, if you use heroes that are in your attack setups and are attacking they won’t be on your wall. So some prefer to use heroes that they aren’t too likely to send out in an attack or at least not in your main match. It all depends on your stats as well though.

Valiant is a great event to test different wall setups and even ask players to help you test it out.

Are nanoweapons equally likely to be pulled from the bag when you hit craft? I noticed I have never seen the last dozen come up, and also there are about six successive ones in the cabinet I have never pulled (starting with Wali's heart as you look in the cabinet) Are those specific ones harder to pull?

Research is probably one of the most important things in the game. Some go for attack, I prefer defense first. Revenge resistance is not high on my list personally but everybody is different. If you have troops that do not have revenge and revenge boost research complete this is what can happen

The difference in wall defense outcomes between the best maxed out heroes and the lowest two and three star reset heroes is approximately 6%. There are over 75 heroes. With five marches, if you put your best on the wall, you will never be saddled with your worst

I'm a defense oriented person. From that perspective, I select heroes that provide the most defense points possible for as many soldiers as possible. Gerald, Kajisha, Celene, Nataly, Dara, Angelo, Hanyu, etc.
